You know, Weegi gets a lot of crap for being an anxious scaredy-cat. But despite that, when push comes to shove he still gets the job done. In my book, that makes him an even bigger hero than Mario.
I just want to say thank you for taking the time to read the dialogue! I know others don't in single player games and even spam to skip ahead, making Gab's playthrough much more enjoyable

I always loved Luigi more because even though he's shitting his pants at every turn he still DOES THE THING. The OG Do it Scared guy. Braver than Mario I think, because having to push through fear is way harder than not having it. Imagine if one day Luigi didn't feel fear. He'd be unstoppable.
I want to say the lore between Luigi's Mansion 1 and 2 is yes, Luigi did not keep the mansion. Instead he gave it to E.Gadd so that he could continue his experiments with the ghosts and continue building and modifying his inventions
Actually, the house Luigi is staying in IS the Mansion.
At the end of the first game, depending on how much money you earned, you get the mansion rebuilt for you right where the mansion stood. The more money you got, the higher your rank, and therefore the bigger house you get. The highest rank was a mansion, the lowest rank was a little shack.
The house Luigi stays in in this game is the D rank one.

I am so excited for this game because I know how much of a fan of Luigi's Mansion she is so this is right up her alley
now that I see this, the protagonist from of STILL WAKES THE DEEP runs like luigi and I can't unsee that luigi vs eldrich horrors

Don't forget to go back and get polterpup! He's outside, you get him by going through the bathroom on the right when you enter the mansion!

Probably my favorite of the 3 games. I feel like this game got the exploration, ghost catching, and puzzles just right! Not to mention it’s hilarious!
Also a tip because the game never explains this: if you press the B button while catching a ghost you can jump! It acts as a dodge maneuver when things get hectic!

I've been looking forward to this playthrough for the past week now. Also, Luigi's House at the beginning is the D rank "Mansion" from the first game.
Plowed through the entire game in a bit over 11 hours the other day -- it's about what I remembered from the 3DS release. Personally, I'm hoping they'll finally bring the first _Luigi's Mansion_ to the Switch now that the other two are on it.
they should have put 1 and 2 together for that price. But Nintendo knows they can milk their fans with over priced remasters
@solid_justice5855 There's also the possibility that they're planning to add a GameCube emulator to the Switch Online membership system, to pull in more subscribers that way. It'd explain their continued failure to port _Wind Waker_ to the Switch as well.
@Nitrinoxus still no excuse to rip off their fambase. The og game was $40 and this Switch release is $60. Also a Game Cube emulator kn Switch? I doubt switch can handle it well enough
@solid_justice5855 It might've felt like a better deal if the game had more to offer than just a remastered version of the original locations and levels. The _Thousand-Year Door_ remaster provides a good case in point: besides all the quality-of-life tweaks, the addition of a concept-art gallery and music player gave extra incentive to push for 100% completion -- something that _Luigi's Mansion 2_ could've benefited from, but didn't add. (A pity, really -- I'd've _loved_ to have seen the design process behind the different areas.)

I personally liked the level structure of this because you could easily go back and replay any section. I've enjoyed enjoyed the general goofiness of the franchise.
I loved this game when I finally got a 3ds but I never finished it as it was too hard to my child brain. So excited to watch you play my favorite game!

Which, considering one of the Luigi courses in the _Mario Kart_ games features the top-ranked mansion, suggests Luigi's got multiple houses.
@@Nitrinoxus I really don't think it's that deep, likely just an oversight by Next Level Games (The studio who did most of the programming and game design for Luigi's Mansion 2 and 3).

You can click A to flash once you dont have to hold it everytime, might make it easier for you

So Happy ur playing this! Ive played the 3ds version so many times. A tip: u dont have to fully charge the flash for it to work on ghosts, etc. And also always check the ceilings! They loved to hide things up there.

Yes you can get more money from old sections and i think you have to flash the mice and other animals to get the money from them
The black bored in the lab gives you money if you spin it enough and the fish outside should be spiting out water

you can change the settings for the controls so you dont have to crab-claw the controller. set the turn-while-poltergeisting to omnidirectional. it takes a bit of getting used to that left and right are based on Luigi's lefts and rights

I love watching these kind of fun and chill play throughs with Gab, and also wondering if there will be a chaotic one on Sean’s channel later. The perfect mix
if you want, i have some non-spoiler control hints...
1. If you need to just look up without messing with the analog stick, you can press X.
2. Although the A button prompt is on screen while vacuuming up a ghost, you don't need to press it until the meter is full (just hold the vacuum button). If you wait until it fills to press A, you'll get some money as a reward. The higher the meter, the more reward!
3. If a ghost is attacking you while you're trying to vacuum up a different ghost, you can use B to dodge (though I'm not sure on the timing). You keep fighting the ghost, but unfortunately dodging will reset the vacuum charge. Still it's better than taking a hit and having to try again.
4. If you need more maneuverability while using the strobe bulb or dark light, you can use the R and L buttons (respectively) instead of their face buttons so you'll be free to look around with the analog sticks while using them.
I adore this game and all its secrets!! Can’t wait for the series.
Just a lil tip, you can flash the mice and spiders, I’d suggest only fully charging the flashlight for a group of ghosties! 😊

You should check out Lorelei and the Laser Eyes! it's a puzzle mystery game that looks like you would be into it! The puzzles are fun and they use a fun art style!
I loved this game so much.
Just thought to share, tea tree ointment pulls out the dirt from the skin (I use Thursday's Plantation tube), I then use pimple patches, they're hidden treasure for skin control.
I started using a tea tree moisturizer which actually has helped tremendously with my oily t-zone!
If you have combination skin it’s good to use a tea tree night mask on your t-zone and chin and use a vitamin E moisturiser at night, that way you’re hydrating your skin but also getting a little oil control at night! I love using aloe Vera on my cheeks at night, keeps them cool and helps with my redness.

This was my FAVOURITE game as a kid, I replayed it up to the ice section over and over! I couldn't figure out how to beat the ice boss so just goofed around 🤠

Yesterday or the day before you posted this I just beat it on my 3DS because I got a hacked 3DS LL last Christmas and it's my first DS as well so I finally beat the Luigi's mansion Dark moon yesterday and I also beat Luigi's mansion 1 a couple months ago on my DS so I've beaten every Luigi's mansion and caught every boo in each game as well
I will say I one day rage quited because the ski lodge boss but the next day I beat it
