As you know I’m sure, sometimes you just feel like shit and you absolutely nailed it as to how you feel at the beginning and it makes me feel better as a person to know that someone is going through the same thing as me. So thank you very much for sharing your experience, it’s much appreciated.

Day 3, I woke up vomitting.... And have nausea since starting. No energy. I literally go.uo couldn't stand.. went on my couch. Rapid heart rate... Couldn't go into work. Called the boss to tell her. I am not well. I hope these side effects pass
I was the same at the doctors, and it felt so strange to finally say it out loud and talk to someone. I’m in the early days of taking these meds and not feeling great but I’m hopeful it will get better
I've got a 4-week prescription. Today is day 4. Have been feeling quite nauseous, almost threw up yesterday. Also had trouble sleeping, I couldn't sleep till 3am. I think my anxiety disorder got worse, hence I got a few random panic attacks and they drove me crazy. I also feel insanely awful, I think I'm even more depressed? Idk, I just don't have energy to study or exercise. Hope the side effects will get better after week 1.
I’m on day 9 and am feeling the same. I’ve heard it takes a few weeks to kick in and get better but I don’t know if it’s worth feel like absolute trash :( have you improved?
@@rachieface66 it got better gradually after about a week. I just used it in 1 month and then stopped cuz i didnt wanna rely on it. My condition now is pretty confusing. Most of the time i feel normal, like my old self b4 the depression, but when im in my depressive episodes, it gets way worse than b4. I fall into depressive mode and wanna unalive myself more quickly. However, i think i can cope with that. And plz dont do the same thing as me. Keep trying and trying, tho life pretty sucks but sometimes it is worth the try. If u dont mind, i would love see your weekly update.
It gets "better" since im not under much pressure or stress, but it is still there. Someone told me we cant really cure it, we just make it less painful and find our own coping mechanisms.
@@inin7925 I’ll try to remember to keep you updated, I’m actually meeting with my psych tomorrow to tell her about my side effects, she may want to make some changes. Im taking Prozac for anxiety, I have pretty bad ocd and sometimes extreme stress puts me into derealization episodes that are just so uncomfortable to live in. I’ve heard SSRIs treat ocd pretty well and im hoping the Prozac will help mine and get me out of this episode. It helps my sister a lot but so far my side effects have been worse than hers :/ im just so exhausted and not feeling myself at all. Scared to sleep bc of the night sweats and shaking
So I’m almost 2 weeks in on the Prozac and I’ve been sleep a lot better, and I wake up feeling really good too, but an hour or so after I take the Prozac I get very lightheaded and start to feel very out of it and disassociated. It’s weird bc I do feel like some of my derealization from my anxiety has improved but then I feel so lightheaded and out of it it’s like a different kind of derealization. I’ve heard it takes 4-6 weeks to fully adjust so I’m hopeful that this dissociative feeling and lightheaded feeling will go away too, we’ll see. I’m meeting with my psych on Tuesday so I’ll give her an update and see what she says about it. I’m almost halfway through my 30 day prescription. In addition to feeling lightheaded I feel like I’m sensitive to lights, but Idk know if that just comes with being lightheaded/having headaches all the time
I've just been prescribed these - your video is informative and will be watching the series - but i'm nervous of the side effects because i need focus and concentration in my work and i don't need to lose that more than i am already because of my motivation/anxieties

I have severe loss of appetite, sweeping anxiety that flew across my whole body, barage of negative thoughts [ worried abt my future, feeling of inferiority etc],loss of interest in work. Hey Ruth. Wow. This is an overwhelmingly common experience as far as what I've gathered from accounts online. If those suicidal thoughts are creeping in to the point where either they'll manifest in a physical way or lay a mental foundation of anxiety which could result in the same outcome... immediately contact your doctor. When these thoughts appear it's really not worth risking "riding it out". For some it's a temporary side effect but it's not worth the risk. Let me know how you're doing please.

Hello, I just started taking fluoxetine it's only been 2 days and I think I already have the sweating side effect is that normal this quick ?? Usually it happens at night. Also will this drug make me gain weight because that's a side effect I am terrified of.
JohnnyThe9th ! Hey mate sorry for the late reply. Hope your night sweats have subsided! I lost a great deal of weight on fluoxetine which I honestly found weird as I felt I'd been eating the same amount as I was eating prior to the medication. So for me personally weight gain was a total non issue. How you getting on in your second week?
Where are your update videos, that you said you were ganna do? Alot of people do a week of update and stop, you said it yourself in this video. is it because they are lazy, or are the side effects unbearable? Or is it because nothing happens on these tablets, please let us know how you are doing, are you feeling better? Any new side effects? Thanks

Sadly depression isn't that simple, I've been in great shape, great diet, and I can safely say it's not that simple. I do agree that a healthy body aids in a healthy mind but sadly it's not necessarily going to fix enough problems for someone to consider themselves fixed and for someone to get to the point of finally admitting they need help and seeking said help they sadly are probably in need of therapy and/or medication

What about gaining weight? Please answer because I'm getting on this medicine. 🙏
i started about a half a month ago and this is so good for helping me feel better about it and its side effects
starting mine tomorrow. cheers for the videos.
How is it?
Day 3 for me and I just feel dizzy and super sleepy I also felt nausea during day 3. I'm just hoping the happiness 😊 happens soon because I've been so anxious and negative 🙃
I’m feeling this way too. Also getting really hot. How long till your symptoms went away?
I feel the nausea
I got off Prozac after two weeks and on Bupropion now, two weeks in and it's been way better for me. It's not an SSRI.@@hippiegypsygirl
I’ve been on it for 2 days now. I don’t think I’ve noticed any severe symptoms but I do feel tiredness and my anxiety levels seem a bit higher. Sometimes I feel like I’m going a little crazy but then I don’t.. hmm
I think from my experience on different strengths and different prescriptions, there's literally no way to quantify the effects. I've had serious side effects then no substantial improvement on my mental health. Then had no side effects with some medications with objective and clear improvements. Have you noticed anything at this point? Any improvements?
hi. great help mate. didnt know what was going on with bodie acking all over. and seeing things. thought was just me,, helped a lot, thanks
Man my first night on Prozac and this is exactly how my body feels

Hey, how are you now? I took fluoxetine for 4 days and I'm worried it caused me permanent tinnitus in one ear. Did you get anything like that?

Hello, I just started taking fluoxetine it's only been 2 days and I think I already have the sweating side effect is that normal this quick ?? Usually it happens at night. Also will this drug make me gain weight because that's a side effect I am terrified of.
JohnnyThe9th ! Hey mate sorry for the late reply. Hope your night sweats have subsided! I lost a great deal of weight on fluoxetine which I honestly found weird as I felt I'd been eating the same amount as I was eating prior to the medication. So for me personally weight gain was a total non issue. How you getting on in your second week?
Day 2...😬I’m nervous
How are u now ?😭 even tho this was 3 yrs ago .
What happanded pal can only see 1 vid you get sorted they work in the end

TheRosemariesuz I take standard 20 mg fluoxetine. I’m a little over 2 weeks in and my appetite is starting to come back.
@@masteryaya6500 Thank you I want to start taking them but am terrified of weight gain x
I can relate, i just been given this medication
Where are your update videos, that you said you were ganna do? Alot of people do a week of update and stop, you said it yourself in this video. is it because they are lazy, or are the side effects unbearable? Or is it because nothing happens on these tablets, please let us know how you are doing, are you feeling better? Any new side effects? Thanks
Jayjay F Hey! The updates have already been filmed and edited but my wifi keeps cutting off at home so struggling to upload. Got the second week up though and third fourth and fifth will hopefully go up this week :)
Liam Bradley thanks for the reply,
are u feeling better on them?
They've sort of levelled out about now, I pick up my second prescription (another 6 weeks) this week. I can't say they've made much of a difference to my baseline mood level yet but going to stick with it!
How long you been on them? Is it helping?
Day 2 for me I'm kinda nervous lol
Taking my first dose in 1 1/2 hours. Help.

Totally! It's what she gave me and when I called up to see where I was to pick up my next prescription she was like "Oh do you want to keep taking it?" I was like "Nah I'm just on it for the side effects lol" :/

My wife made me mental I'll. though she had also IED or biopolar but never accepted. And I had IED also and I am planning on taking Prozac

Horrible side effects 😂
Prozac very dangerous tablets don't use a lot of side affects
Yawn.....
bro pump iorn its way better then this
stop being ignorant
its some friendly advice..my friend
Sadly depression isn't that simple, I've been in great shape, great diet, and I can safely say it's not that simple. I do agree that a healthy body aids in a healthy mind but sadly it's not necessarily going to fix enough problems for someone to consider themselves fixed and for someone to get to the point of finally admitting they need help and seeking said help they sadly are probably in need of therapy and/or medication
actually exercise can help, it's not 'the' answer but i generally feel better if I do
