My dad committed suicide when I was 13, my brother was murdered, our first child was born still full term, and I took my mom off of life support 2 years ago. Sleep problems still havent gone away for me after 6 months. Waking up at 4/5am every morning wide awake with restlessness then very tired from around 1200 for the rest of the day. But overall the positives outweigh the negatives

The reason I'm taking it is because we had to move 2 years ago due to a really bad evil neighbor which I still think about, 2 recent doggie deaths, a challenging engineering job with a work culture that isn't the same as when I started, my life progression to make me move from family, and aging parents that I'm only able to see every couple months. It certainly numbs certain things in my head and I don't think I'm doing as many thought loops.

Have him go to the gym 5 days a week for an hour. It should help him let out some of the irritation. It should have him think about his self in a positive light when he starts to see progress . It helped me and a couple other people i know.

They said ADs were discovered by chance while curing other things , however these were not SSRIs , they were old school like tricyclic antidepressants or MAOi so idk 😐 probably some cardiovascular issuess i guess. SSRIs are strictly the first line of defense for depression and anxiety following the whole "chemical imbalance" theory.
I think the tablets didn't help honestly, it made me actually go to the bathroom after each time I ate it was like a laxative which was annoying so I stopped. I'm probs gonna go on them again but yeah.

@@4ran0dom4ive taken 3 ssris lexapro, zoloft and prozac and didn't have any erection problems whatsoever .But i discontinued using lexapro it was shit, and the withdrawal was awful, now on zoloft and prozac, for about a year or 2 and im just gonna remain on prozac i think.. and yeah lorazepam is decent but expensive and short acting, and ive been on a wide range of benzos , possibly addicted. Probably.
Sertraline is causing me so much anxiety. I have to take more benzodiazepine now even if I cut the pill in a tiny little piece and take it my anxiety is through the roof.
I take fluoxetine for my anxiety and ocd and it doesn't help at all. 12 weeks now. 9 on 20mg and last 3 weeks on 40mg. Still alot og anxiety, negative thoughts and ocd.

Yes it is. If you are on a dose of 5 to 10 mg of Lexapro you can do the switch immediately. Just wait for 24 hours post your last dose of Lexapro and start on 10 mg of Prozac.

They work differently on each people which is why you gotta talk to the doctor about it to adjust the dose or change the medication that is right for you. It basically needs fine tuning.

How about your weight ? Most of antidepresant cause lack of libido. Esp SSRI.

I have OCD and I got prescribed this and all the negativity around it I'm so scared to take it it did great for my mom when she took it but my dad did not do great so I don't know and I'm so nervous
i started taking it 3 weeks ago for OCD. it’s been helping me slowly. i experienced the common side effects but they’re slowly going away. it’s different for everyone, but if your OCD is as bad as mine I hope the medicine brings you peace ❤️
They work differently on each people which is why you gotta talk to the doctor about it to adjust the dose or change the medication that is right for you. It basically needs fine tuning.

I work one of the top most dangerous jobs and recently experienced something pretty fked up that messed head up a little bit and has also caused very bad anxiety.. I’ll just have to wait and see how it turns out I guess.
Rosa is so cute it drives me crazy! And it seems like her personality is absolutely perfect. So gentle and sweet. You can see and hear that she has seen some crazy things. You can feel her pain.
