I loved Gene's music even as a 14 year old girl in the late 70s listening to greatest hits albums. I still melt when I hear his voice ❤

I did a show in Somers Ct and didn't realize he was buried right down the street. So I went to visit him. In my show, I had covered Town without Pity. So at his gravesite, I thanked him for such great music and told him I hoped I'd covered him well.

Love Love Love Gene Pitney.. how I wish I had seen him in concert. I'm glad for the footage I find on YT of him performing. You can tell he loved what he did. That's what makes a performer special. Not only a great voice but could connect with his audience. He looked like he was having a blast in Italy. I'd never seen him so animated... his songs here were more serious ballads but it was great to see him get into it and let loose.:o)

Always loved Gene Pitney. I wished I could have seen him live and met him. What a loss. When I was younger my voice was compared to him. What a compliment. If you care to comment check us on u tube The Fallen Leaves garage band.

I grew up listening to Gene Pitney and saw him at Foxwoods. A true gentleman. Respectful, loving husband, father and family man. You never heard anything bad about him. Everyone who knew him loved him and saw what a unique individual he was. I miss him so much and always will. Thanks for all the great songs that I'm still listening to at 70. RIP Gene.
