Ayyy TY my baseball brethren, and congrats to u too! Fortunately for both of us, u guys pulled out the division on the last day (if I’m not mistaken) and made sure we won’t hafta eliminate each other till the ALCS! Growin up an O’s fan since born in 83, I have always heard since atleast the late 90’s, early 00’s that “it’s good for baseball when the Orioles are playing great, co yall feel this way? Or does/did it have more to do with maybe Cal Ripken Jr bein the clean player among juice heads and still bein the “Ironman”?
Predicting a cakewalk to the ALCS for the Astros as they get the winner of Toronto/Minnesota and are battle tested.
O's path will be a little tougher with Tampa or Texas.
I could cry right now. I love this team so much. Let’s go O’s 🧡🖤
My preseason prediction was to play 500 ball (81-81).
My main concern was the Starting Pitching.
I didn't know how they would pan out over the course of the season.
In years past, they would go 3-4 innings a game with a few getting into the 5th or later.
Ultimately, Rutschman was the catalyst to stabilize the rotation since his callup last May.
This season, he (and McCann) had done a phenomenal job to maximize the starters achieving and surpassing the 5th inning onwards.
Bautista and Cano were the best 1-2 punch on the backend of 3 runs or less games.
I am glad to have been proven wrong predicting this season's success.
I am proud of this bunch of homegrown players to have made this season special not only for themselves but the fans of whom did stick around.

My dad was a huge Orioles Fan and loved them. Even tho he passed this makes me feel like im watching the games like we did back in 2016

I can’t tell you how many games I would go to when I was younger. And year after year we had horrible seasons. To see this in Baltimore, it’s special man really is.

And that statement is so true. THREE teams made it to the post season out of the A.L. east.
Boston came in last and they were only 6 games below 500. The Rays would have won any other division in the A.L. That says alot.

Not only did we win the AL East we had the best record In the American League
Everybody is talking about Grayson and Bradish, but people are sleeping on Dean Kremer, man. He's been so good in the highest pressure situations, including what might have been the highest pressure game of the year, holding them to no runs when the offense was clearly struggling? Dean Kremer has been fantastic and seems like the kind of guy you can trust in the playoffs. Love it.

The hardest division to win in baseball is the AL East. Orioles won 101 games and their margin of victory was TWO games; that's it.

I love this team but I don't think we have the offense to slug it out with the likes of the Astros, Rangers, Braves..ect. That's why losing Bautista to injury was so devastating because he could singlehandedly get us big wins even when our bats forgot to show up. We'll see what happens

The Angelos family is secretly plotting to move the Orioles to Nashville and rename the team the Nashville Stars. That's why there has not been a signed extension after all this time. Worst owners in sports.
