What a great first episode, I truely felt like I was there with you and Jackson! The camera work is great and the sound track really fits the calm vibe your voice provides to the experience. Love it. I cant wait for the next installment great cliff hanger. I am happy that Jackson got to share your first trip I know he must have loved it. Thank you for the shout out also Eric, you are on your way my friend😁
Nice ride along, sir. Enjoyed the scenery and getting to know a little more about Canada in the process. I've been to Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia a few times and they are amazing. Great wilderness exploration potential for sure! Thank you for sharing yours and Jackson's adventures. Subscribed to see more. Cheers! (I presume that's Guinness you're imbibing in.) ;)
Awesome! Just discovered your channel, I’ve crown land camped many times in that area, if you head further down the road there’s a nice little fishing spot and some amazing campsites 👍
Nice to have you! 👍🏻 My second trip up that way we ended up on this beautiful spot beside the river with a short walk to a small beach! Incredible... That episode is on the way 👍🏻
I copied your idea to get the foothills tent on my car-thanks for the tips. Excited to use it. Hope you are still enjoying it and can give any new tips for foothills solo traveler? Watching from Calgary Alberta Canada.
@@cparker777 thank you for the comment! Did you also see my episode on flipping the Foothill cover around? Game changer! After awhile, you'll be able it all setup in under 10 minutes. I usually keep the inside side of the fly buttoned down and that saves setting the fly poles up all the way around. (Which is probably the most time consuming part of the setup.) Make sure the hinge corners of the tent fabric are sealed well or you'll get mosquito's! There is an inner 'flap' and Velcro there. My sister spent many years in Calgary. Awesome town! You're so lucky to live in such a beautiful province like Alberta!

This is a nice diversion from the ubiquitous 'in-your-face' style typical of youtube vlogs. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.

Glad I found your channel. I love the overlander life and wish I had the means to do it. I've subbed and will continue watching your adventures!
Glad to have you on board! Thank you

A Guinness man! Stout beers are
my favorite. You gotta try New Holland Dragons Milk if you haven’t already.
That sound delicious! I'll keep my eye out for it. Thanks...
Nothing like a Stout in the autumn 👍🏻
The dogs are the key…..very grounding
They are... They're a part of the family for sure ❤️

@@TLOverlander I am going to have to watch it again and make sure I do it correctly. My tent came w the cover off.
Was that Walmart Signature blend coffee???!!! That's my favorite coffee haha! It's surprisingly good. How do you find the Valkyrie roof rack?
It is actually pretty good.... I get the organic.
I'd love if Kicking Horse would supply the channel with their coffee! 🤘
The Valkyrie rack, now, is good...
Took all year to work out the issues though!
