LDS missionaries moved out of Ukraine as tensions mount with Russia in eastern Europe

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has moved its missionaries out of Ukraine as Russia continues to build up military forces on the country's border.

Total overreacting. My wife is from Ukraine and the West is more worried about an invasion than most Ukrainians. They’re Slavic cousins and there won’t be a major conflict. Putin just needs attention and the Ukrainian military is strong enough to inflict serious casualties and won’t turn tail and run. With that being said I pray that cooler heads prevail, Ukraine is a beautiful country with beautiful people, I wish the people reporting events from that part of the world actually knew something about it but they don’t and it’s nothing more than the irresponsible media doing what they do best.
