EVER SINCE THE FATHER CREATED JESUS, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE BY GOD WITHOUT JESUS, AND NOTHING JESUS DOES IS WITHOUT THE FATHER. THE FATHER AND SON ARE INSEPARABLE, LINKED TOGETHER FOREVER. EVERY SINGLE SAYING OR DOING OF JESUS COMES FROM THE FATHER. IN JOHN 5:36, JESUS SAYS “THE WORKS WHICH THE FATHER HATH GIVEN ME TO FINISH, THE SAME WORKS THAT I DO, BEAR WITNESS OF ME, THAT THE FATHER HATH SENT ME.” JOHN 5:37 SAYS “THE FATHER HIMSELF WHICH HAS SENT ME HAS MORE WITNESS OF ME AND YOU HAVE NEITHER HEARD HIS VOICE NOR SEEN HIS SHAPE.” WHY DOES JESUS SAY THIS? IT IS BECAUSE GOD, THE FATHER, BEARS WITNESS OF JESUS THROUGH JESUS. JESUS’ WORDS ARE THE WORDS FROM GOD HIMSELF. THE “GREAT MYSTERY” IS THAT GOD SPEAKS AND DOES ALL THINGS THROUGH JESUS, FOR GOD SENT JESUS TO DO GOD’S WILL AND NOT HIS OWN. JESUS DOES ALL THINGS USING THE POWER AND SPIRIT OF GOD THAT IS INCARNATED IN HIM (MATTHEW 28:18). JESUS REPEATEDLY TELLS US THAT HE HAS NOT SPOKEN OF HIMSELF, BUT ONLY WHAT GOD RELAYS TO HIM IS WHAT HE SPEAKS (JOHN 12:49-50) AND DOES (JOHN 8:29).
“AND THIS IS LIFE ETERNAL THAT THEY MAY KNOW YOU THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST, WHOM THOU HAST SENT'' (JOHN 17:3).
