We also went to manali by our own car from noida, but this was the reason we hired local cab and driver ahead of manali. Because the weather there,, is unpredictable, we can't risk our and our kids life for the enjoyment. Hum kitne bhi ache driver kyu na ho pahado me kabhi risk nahi. Lena chahiye. God bless you all.

I asked u on ur first blog for Manali about Rohtang pass and u said that u will post its vlog soon. I was about to make the booking for Rohtang Pass yesterday, but thought to wait for ur vlog. Now, I have cancelled the plan. Hats off to u for showing the true picture of how dangerous it can be. No RUclipsr has shown this in recent days, they r only showing the bright side of it. In ur whole vlog, I was praying for ur family's safety and wahe guru ji listened to me. Thank god u r safe. God bless u all. 🙏 Goosebumps.
Don’t miss the place , it’s definitely worth a visit , just that it’s unpredictable and perhaps not very safe for small kids
@@MomComIndia yeah I have a 3 year old son. Won't risk it with him. One thing I felt that u shud have taken the local taxi, since the local guys know about the routes, road conditions and driving in snow. Driving in hills and snow r different things, even if Saurabh loves driving.
If we knew there would be snow we would have skipped this place , it was an u predictable situation

On the 29th of April, we found ourselves stranded in Koksar, facing a similar ordeal where we were stuck for 10 hours. I had anticipated such conditions, so I opted for a taxi. However, the taxi driver lacked expertise, and to make matters worse, the wipers broke. The vehicle struggled on the black ice, and at one point, I had to physically push it through the snowstorm. Soaked clothes, shivering in the cold, a taxi low on fuel, and non-functional wipers which we had to wipe down manually every other minute-it was a challenging situation. Despite these hardships, we managed to make it back to our hotel in Manali at midnight, thankfully.
That sounds like a horrible experience, so hiring a local taxi also doesn’t guarantee safety , I’m glad you made it out safe
I really enjoyed your day 1 & day 2 vlogs mansi di but this one OMG really shaken my heart what a horrifying experience you guys had there but really happy to see that you all are back to the hotel safely❤ can't imagine also what you guys have gone through the biggest nightmare anyone could have when there life & there loved ones life r at this much of risk i hope there were no casualties out there everyone came back safely because every life is precious, we were also planning to go to Shimla with our kid & our friends we went there before also but this time one thing is for sure that we r not gonna take our own vehicles , lastly thankyou so much for showing this negative side also of this place and that to in such a bad situation.Love you always. ❤

@@MomComIndia I m from Shimla and hum kuch predict nhi kr skte h hills ka kb kya ho Jaye vo bhi so it's better to avoid to travel such places especially with kids....we don't prefer to go in hills,vaishno devi,amarnath , Kashmir,leh ladak....vse toh bhagwan ji n agar kuch galat krna ho to Ghar pr bhi ho jayega but risk kyu lena jb Hume pta h ki nature kuch bhi kr skti h....

Going is not difficult, but going to such disastrous hilly snowy areas, you always must hire a DRIVER who is well versed with the roads. No matter how BADIYA driver you are.
We too had gone but we chose to hire a driver as we had children.

Which vehicle you have .... reason to ask this is because hilly area hai toh which vehicle will be okay to drive in hills.
It’s not about the vehicle, any vehicle is good I’m hills , the issue was driving in snow and ice

thats right AWD (All wheel drive) or whats called 4x4 is very important for safety in hills and snowy slippery areas, we have lived in chicago where blizzards are common every year
Even a 4*4 won’t work if you don’t know how to operate on slippery slopes , driving in flat plain and slippery slopes are very different things , there are many 4*4 cars which were stuck
@@viddpt same i have been in US and in india as well we have been travelling with kid to such destinations with proper safety. These vehicles are equipped as i mentioned above .

This is scary..One should always hire local taxis/cabs to rohtang, its not safe to drive there as weather is unpredictable...glad that you guys got help and came back safely...always check weather before visiting such high altitudes esp with kids...
Weather check done but no prediction , also locals said no snowfall is in expected as it’s getting too warm …local taxi yes seems a better idea

There is u-turn however we were stuck at a point from where uturn was not possible
