Music video by Nirvana performing In Bloom. (C) 2009 Geffen Records - Видеоклипы
I was a teenager back then. So strange to see Kurt in recordings. Everybody else got middle aged now, but Kurt is forever frozen in time. He'll always be 20-something, even when we grow old, become grandparents, retire and live the rest of our lives. I don't know - there's something profoundly moving about that.
twisterwiper 27
He's an effing legend.
@@clintjones9848 I'm with u there!
Actually it’s sad! He would have turned 50 this year. Can you imagine Kurt Cobain at 50 years old? Hard to picture it! It would still be better than how he ended up.

Imagine if the drummer started his own band

The bass in this is insane
lmao no, listen to negative creep live. 10 times better
@@phipschi4255 ok nvm the bass isn’t insane
listen to blew from this live also
Anyone who dislikes it has a serious problem
I've found every one of these members held their weight musically with one another. And I agree.
The way Kurt closes his eyes after he says “sell the kids for food” then clears his throat. It’s okay papa Kurt we love your voice no matter what
yeah tuning down tuning down to E flat kinda fucked him up a lil bit lol
@@joshcooper1963 plus when youve been singing high youre voice gets kind of stuck in high mode and it's hard in that same session to then sing low. It's a weird thing.
@@joejones9520 very true
@@joejones9520 You guys realized that Kurt on this tour has upper respiratory infection, right? A.K.A Bronchitis. That's why his voice here is not on good condition. He described it as "very uncomfortable" and "itchy".
Papa Kurt 💀
the fact that i'll never be able to see them live really makes me sad.
Syrup the Bigg Mean Toad My Dad had tickets to one of their concerts which sadly never happened

I like it how he lost his voice, had a voice crack, something in his throat, and was off tune but still went with it without being embarrassed
he was massively on heroin during this tour :/
@@2011hwalker he wasn’t he just had bronchitis😭
@@2011hwalker no lmao
He always did this weird voice crack thing on in bloom almost everytime he played it live on the line "we can have some more"
It sounds so rad though. Especially the really low "nature is a whore" bit. I think he did it on purpose.
One of the most underrated guitar solos of all time.
not by me either 🐱

Kurt may be dead but his music will live forever and inspire generations to come. Thank you for what you've done with your short time on Earth, good man.
Tyler Barker wait... He is dead?!?
Dennis Kramer Welcome to Nirvana
Tyler Barker couldn't say it better myself x
At least he died in his highest state, the best he will be, at least we won't have to see him grow old and out of music. RIP Kurt.

The combination of simplicity and creativity in this solo belies the much touted notion that Kurt Cobain was not a great guitar player. That and the way he plays the rhythm parts, subtle little slides into chords, in-between open string notes and the rhythmic pattern itself. His playing has such a unique feel and is extremely difficult to replicate!
I thought the same thing thirty years ago. It's still true.
I really like his guitar playing. He had such a rawk feel. This solo is one of his cooler bits. He just wasn't a 'virtuoso.' Not a virtuoso doesn't equal bad.
His playing has always reminded me of Pete townshend or John lennon.....all fantastic rhythm guitarists due to be excellent songwriters with a genius grasp of composition. They are songwriters first, guitarists second.
That scream after the solo blows me away each and every time! Kurt and Layne Staley were two of the best at that
I've been listening to Nirvana since I was 9, now that I am a high school teacher, I'll try to share this music to my students.
i wish i had you for a teacher
And I wish I have a student like you.
good music for a good teacher
I wish I was your student seriously
Teaching them Nirvana is almost like teaching freedom of self. Because that's what's Kurt/Nirvana is all about.
Cobain's face at 0:32 is like "Damn low note. Hope nobody heard that"
xD
NdannsN I personally think it sounds better
ahahaha
Haha Dude was too messed up to sing his own song. That is a real rockstar
No, it's like, "Oh shit, I'm so f'd up I am kinda embarrassed"

1992 was an interesting year physical appearance wise for Nirvana. Kurt had a mullet, Dave’s hair was above his shoulders, and Krist had the longest hair in the band
Grohls drumming is fucking solid
Fuck yeah.
Grohl is a very good drummer but remember that chad chaning did the drums to in bloom
Hes very good! I like how he adapted his very physical style for the unplugged show.
@@wrapys6528 yeah he did, and Dave gave the kudos to him in the hall of fame, but dave gave a much better drum line that worked in every ways with the song

I'm a boomer and I like this guy.
I loved this song and still do, possibly one of the last great bands, not much has happened since then
wheres the song of the shake-sh-sh-shake b-b-bridge?
Wow. Love your videos Leo! I had no idea you were a NIRVANA fan.
Foo Fighters??
There are some good rock bands here today, like Highly Suspect and Royal Blood. Not really famous, but they're good
+Brennan Persing Foo Fighters are honestly just bad. Average as hell and not my style. To generic. Dave should have stuck to the drums. I do respect him though for trying to keep real recording alive and vinyl. Just love watching him drum.
What a great drummer Dave Grohl is. I could watch him all day! I like how he launches his whole upper body into the drums. And his precision and power. Amazing! He was clearly responsible for half the bands success. He drove the beat home every show!
D Zodiac he has a cool backstory too 🙏🤘
Love Dave & the whole band
His immediate predecessor behind the Nirvana kit was pretty fukken good too
He isn't responsible for jack shit; he didn't even write any of the drumlines on Nevermind by his own admission
You should love Chad channing too he's pretty epic
Even when his voice cracks it still sounds awesome. He was just that good of a performer.
No joke this was a incredible performance from incredible iconic musicians. What a privilege it must have been to have actually seen this live performance.
Who gives a fuck if he was high or not. He was a sick as fuck musician and singer and you should respect that.
The fact that he's high makes it even funnier and better IMO
I used to be 9 years old and listen to nirvana, now I''m a school teacher and try to share this to my student... that student was Albert Einsten.

Fortunately I'm son of a dad who knows what good music means, and so here I am, at 17, and I hope I can pass on to my future children who were Nirvana. Greets from Portugal

the way he closes his eyes after that low note absolutely breaks my heart
Rest in peace cobain we miss you. Your a legend I'll never forget.
I just love crowd reaction at beginning of this song. Pure raw love.
My favourite part at the end of the intro when the guitars stop and you just hear Dave beating the shit out of the drums. Never gets old
I literally heard this song at my job last night and I recognized Kurt’s voice and searched for this song. I know understand why ppl loved Nirvana so much. This song is amazing!
I see a lot of odd comments here... The fact is the song is sung exactly the way it is supposed to be sung because the people who are singing it, created it.

Kurt's voice Is amazing! 💙💙💙
Genius, talent and all that aside, Kurt was/is the most fucking gorgeous human ever created. He coud roll out of a gutter, and head to toes be perfection.
Good Jesus! This is fantastic! Seeing this for the first time must be like seeing Queen and Freddie at Live Aid, it will blow your mind how good this is live
Grunge just has that heavy feel that I love.
As I got older (old now at 61), I actually appreciate these guys now. Curt wrote great pop songs filtered through punks energy.
The way he perfectly fucks up solos but is still in time is crazy
Krist has always got the same expression on his face when playing, it's hilarious!
0:52: When I click on a Nirvana video and an advert pops up
This song makes me relive all of the 90s in my mind. I was young, but my older bro was into Nirvana and this track is particularly magical
Oh what I would do to see him preform live :(
im 20 and i started liking nirvana in 2016 when i was 14. it was my first band to listen deeply, all their albums and i will always feel sad for not being able to see them play live, for not having kurt in this world, for him not knowing about these years that kinda suck but still, how life is going. i imagine him on tiktok or other stuff doing stupid things. i think i can’t say i miss him because i wasn’t in this world when he was alive but i have that feeling of missing him
exactly, i think about how he would’ve been doing silly things on tiktok and stuff like that. i wasn’t alive then either but i do miss him very much, like the feeling of him not being here makes me want to cry every time i think about him. i just wonder where he is now you know? somewhere up there
He would NOT ABE ON TIKTOK OMFG.
Esta foi a primeira canção da obra "Nevermind" que eu ouvi. Foi paixão "à primeira vista"! Sensacionais!
Great man great musician, 27 years later
Awesome to see that simple random guitar solo turn to be so memorable so much
I am obsessed with the guitar tone Kurt had during this concert, and this performance is a perfect example of it. Especially that intro.

One of my favourite Nirvana songs!
Kurt died before I was born. My stepdad showed me so many songs and so many artists. Like Eminem, Oasis, Guns 'n roses, Weezer, The Cure and more but the one that stood out the most was Nirvana, I got use to nirvana a lot and he started telling me more about the band. I liked their back story and their songs, even though I cant relate to them a lot I still feel like Im connected to them somehow. Oh what Id do to be born earlier to see Nirvana play. Im turning 12 this year :3
You had a good upbringing. Luckier than a lot.
