It’s sad that she didn’t get more dances like this, especially because so many of her solos had some underdeveloped gimmick or unnecessary costume and they were never about her really dancing. This was probably her best solo choreographically.
And never knew !
Nia is literally underrated because she’s so beautiful and has amazing skills she just does not get to show it so often.
Love this solo! Nia was so elegant and really pretty. Her movements were definitely accentuated by that gorgeous costume, and I am so proud of her for beating Kendall and being just behind Maddie. Imagine if Abby didn’t add so much flexed feet and gave Nia a somewhat stronger piece of choreography... we might have seen a winner y’all!
She probably would have won if her turns were stronger in this, she basically fell out of all of them

@@dancingrick1014 She didn't really fall out of them, she kinda just bobbled on them. I think a more complex set of a la secondes similar to the one she did in the ALDC group dance Dollhouse would've brought the difficulty level up more

@@_dahtruthTV it’s not technically falling, now that I rewatch, but she had definitely some control issues in them, they all seemed a bit rushed

No one ever talks about this nia solo. This is one of my favorite solos she has done on the show. It showed off how mature she can be. I loved it so much.
It’s so nice to see Nia dancing to a beautiful song with a beautiful costume. She emotes so well, she feels the music. I’d rather see a dancer who is full of passion than a dancer who gets all the steps right, but lacks heart and emotion.
It's so pretty how Nia has matured from solos like "Laquifa" and "Working Girl" and she dances so maturely and powerfully now.

The fact that I have NEVER seen this solo upsets me. Nia did an AMAZING job during this solo. Her costume was gorgeous, the choreography was pretty good, and Nia literally did what she was trained to do, PERFORM. I wish she got more solos like this. Abby definitely underestimated Nia.

I am rewatching this episode right now and I didn’t realize until now that her and Maddie were only separated by “tenths of a point”. This was a great solo.

Her dancing is not as fresh and smooth as Maddie’s but it’s fine bcuz Nia is mostly a jazzy girl not contemporary
I’m 4 years late be she is contemporary lol just because she’s not a lyrical dancer , 4-7 she was contemporary so don’t compare her to Maddie they are 2 different type of people.
