What to do about a Bloody Jaw Harp?

- I have received a few questions from subscribers about how to avoid cutting their lip on a harp relating in a bloody jaw harp. Here are a few things that have worked for me.

I ordered a case from Oberton Pro a long time ago, they including a fridge magnet of three dudes missing some front teeth, a big hockey player, a skinny guy with a jaw harp and a boxer or something
It actually took me about a week to get the joke hahaha

Same strategy when playing Dan moi? Those are extra sharp

Playing the jaw harp makes my chewing musculature tremble after a couple of mintues. Does anyone else have this issue?
Are you playing a snoopy harp?
@@bebbcorpharpery7331 A harp from Ildar Gimadiew. It's very heavy and deep. I think there's just too much mass vibrating.
However the same happens with a smaller harp as well, just later and not as pronounced.
This might be due to your grip or might be due to the harp. These your first harps or is it happening on other harper just these two in particular I want to narrow it down to if it’s a harp or if it’s grip or how it’s being held against the teeth
@@bebbcorpharpery7331 These are my first harps and that's the reason why I stopped trying to play. I tried using as little pressure as possible, ere the sound suffers.

Lessons learned with a glazyrin. The reed might as well be a razor blade if you get your lips caught! 😖
