I am a woman with no interest in sports. However, in school I loved playing tennis & badminton. At that time, I liked watching tennis matches because I played it myself.
However, in my late teens, I was forced to stop playing as I was 'growing up', less girls were playing and parents didnt allow to play with guys.
I feel that women might want to watch sports , specially women's sports if we actively play sports ourselves.

I do follow women's cricket , not as much as men one but I have equal support for both teams. I for sure know that it is mostly males who watch womens cricket and in India , people do go to see womens games. So it has an audience and it will grow. But, we can look at the data and say that viewership is growing year on year, in Intnl matches and WPL.
