To avail of OBC reservation and schemes, a non-creamy layer certificate is mandatory, which is currently set at a household income limit of ₹8 lakh per annum

Nothing to do with unemployment, rate of unemployment is at an all time low, but the employment is an issue everywhere else even for the next govt, it is a natural phenomenon but political parties use it for their agenda, besides here question is not on the UPSC, the process is mostly same even from the previous regime. The issue with today is that the vision and nation has changed a lot and the process needs to change to cater to the nation of today and the future.

the fact that majority of judges come from nepotism is concerning unless you choose to not care. the country follows objective and merit based practices for choosing numerous positions of power. be it army posts or head of important institutions. don't assume that there is no alternative. most countries in the world have a functioning judiciary and most of them are fairer and more efficient than ours. jyado bolunga to vivad ho jayega.
I have some criticism to offer for your commentary. I really think you should offer your insight after the sentence has been completed. When you interject like this you are breaking the sentence and not allowing the initial point to be made clear before your counter argument. bro i am also in a govt. job in state police on lower rank and we face this on regular basis from our upper rank officeres. They bring their friends in our offices and order us to take care of them like tea, water, their bags and if we deny then they make our daily life hard give punishment in the form of fake notices for undiciplne behaviour. Like me i got a fake undiciplne notice and got transferred 82km away from my current office. And then my reameaninig staff got pin drop sielent. and i can't do anything against this massive courreption. ( sorry for spelling mistake)

Reservation is a real issue. One of my friend is really rich. He used his SC ST certificate to take admission into the university which doesn't even make sense.

Fake certifications and documentation is a huge problem in India and I am telling this as a designer who denied doing editing work on certificates for people who wanted to use them for getting high paying jobs. If proper investigation ever takes place mark my words a lot of people will loose their high paying jobs.

Corruption in medical/fitness tests before giving a government employee the posting or joining is mandatorily to be done at a civil hospital in Gujarat. I have never seen someone get away with a private hospital's certificate.
However, I've seen a classmate of mine getting fake certificate in physically handicapped category and getting selected. He is currently working for Government since 6 years at least.

being an IAS aspirant i must say that questions must be raised on the issue regarding fake certificates being used to get in the service despite having a low rank but its not fair to demean the entire Administrative Services of being corrupt. There are numerous examples of great officers working tirelessly for the upliftment of the downtrodden and the sad reality is those dont garner the desired attention as it should
In India every system from beginning is corrupt because our society is broadly a low trust corrupt society. Administrative Service is no exception. Now the real question is how we reform the administrative service system to minimize corruption and mitigate its negative impact on society?

How is upsc not compromised? Despite her not going for the medical examination in AIIMS, she received her appointment letter. CAT is not authorised to issue that, only UPSC can issue the appointment letter and they had full knowledge of the case
UPSC is supposed to filter fraudulent cases. She gave exam 11 times and UPSC was idiotically clueless. She changed her certificate, age, name so many times, but UPSC ko kuch pata hi nahi chala. What a joke 😂😂

Reservation is not the problem, how it is used is the problem. At the core reservations made for the dignity that we obcs,scs,sts didn't get 1000s and 1000s years under the upper class hindus and chances that we didn't get.

Swetabh you are not getting the point I think. Whenever this guy said that she is demanding "Lal batti" , peops , office etc. you are saying what's wrong in that. The wrong thing here is that she is not an IAS officer yet and is in probation period. It's like saying if I am training as a policeman, I will encounter criminals , No I cannot. There is a rank and position at which all this will be provided and she has to gain experience to get there. Probabation officer is supposed to learn how to work in the administrative services by observing the senior officers, and that is the sole purpose of a probation officer, they don't have much authority of their own. So no office, no vehicle, no stamp, nothing is given to an under training officer. Yet she forcefully demanded those things. I just wanted to clear this point as I think you are mistaking her for an on duty IAS officer instead of a under training IAS officer.
