All the retd UPSC officers should be banned from re-employment with coaching institutions. Even the domain experts required for admin of specialist depts. need to be recruited only with relevant qualifications. The debate should include only senior and retired IAS officers who have served their department with honor. Why should candidates with History, Geography and English honours be selected? How to become IAS OFFICER without study and exam.
The youth is wasting precious years of their youth hoping to achieve their dream of becoming an IAS, IPS etc and this is what the system is giving them in reality. The UPSC really needs some serious reforms.
Obviously,, need of an hour.
They clear exam in indian history then they are supposed to evaluate fighter aircraft...
The debate should include only senior and retired IAS officers who have served their department with honor. Why should candidates with History, Geography and English honours be selected? Why cannot we make eligibility as candidates with qualifications in STEM and Law subjeçts.? Also, 25% of selection should be done through lateral entry.
