Oh I needed this before Monday because we made a college road trip and I did not pack enough food. Excellent tips, Shanna! We will be traveling more and I will definitely be referencing back to this video 😊❤❤❤
Oh man! I wish I'd been a little earlier with it for you! I'm so glad it's helpful! I've been in that same boat where I didn't pack enough AIP food...we live and learn. Sometimes the hard way ;) Hugs!
When flying, you can't take your water through security. So the first time I got through, I found a water fountain, filled up and thought I was going to... Well let's say I'm not used to city water. So I bought a water bottle with a filter. It was an improvement, but not much. I returned the bottle. My go to solution? I went to the bartender and asked for a fill up. The water was cold, filtered and she even added ice. ❤🌅🌵
Another awesome tip Suzi!! I usually resort to buying bottle water once I'm through security, but I love your idea! Thanks so much for sharing! When I travel with a little soft cooler, I do not put ice in it until after clearing security, then I find a restaurant or food place and request some cups of ice. Not sure if I could get away with ice in the cooler through security, so I just did it that way.
@@ShannaNemrow, restaurants don't always have filtered water, but at $12-20 an adult beverage, most bars have filtered water. And there's always a bar to keep passengers calm. 💝☀🌵
Suzi SaintJames what kind of filtered water bottle did you buy? I’m a heavy water drinker-always have been-so I need frequent fillips and don’t like to waste water when I fly due to their rule.
@@forckgang4736 it was like a Brita water bottle with filter. But it's only charcoal filter. I'm used to reverse osmosis or distilled water. If you want a water filter for your hotel, Berky has a travel size. Very claims to be as good as reverse osmosis.... But for me, at the airport? I'd rather get water at the bar. Safe travels, my friend. 💝☀🌵
Truth is that one of my triggers is becoming overtired. So when I fly, I request a wheelchair. There's a lot of perks. The attendant knows the location of the gate, he knows which security lanes are the fastest, you don't have to wait in line at the gate to check in, you board first, with families with small children. They meet you at the gate and take you baggage claim, and then to the taxi stand or rental car office. So yes, it cuts down on the walking, but also eliminates all the stress of not knowing where everything is located. It's a free service (however I do tip the attendant) and nothing to prove. Just make the request, no questions asked. 💝☀🌵

Great question! I like to drink spring water. When I fly anywhere, I typically resort to buying bottled water. I haven't found a water bottle with a filter I like yet. I like to bring a glass reusable water bottle with me on road trips. What would you suggest to drink while vacationing/road trips? Would a recommend a water bottle with a filter? If so, what kind/brand/size?
