  • Our nation won its independence thanks to armed, organized, and competent civilians. But their survival and continued success only happened because those capable men built strong families and resilient communities for generations before.
In this video, Josh Lowry and Drew Hopkins discuss the purpose and passion behind the launch and future of Dirty Civilian.

I was in the military for 6 years. Some had that mentality that civilians dont need ARs or to train and be proficient. Even more scarier is that some almost had us vs them. I did my time and got out. And when i was in i was happy to see civilians training and being proficient while the military is off in some foreign nation on the other side of the world to "protect freedom" which is a lie i never believed. The governor in my state has done more to attack my freedom than all of the taliban and al-qaeda. Another lie is that someone in the military is well trained and knowledgeable. I shoot more in a year as a dirty civilian now than i did in the 6 years i was in the military. And at the end the US was never meant to have a standing army to fight foreign wars. We were meant to be well armed and trained militia. To work regular jobs and be ready at a moments notice to stop attacks.

Spot on with the no standing army. Hard to get entangled in a foreign war if you have to convince the citizens it is enough of a threat to drop everything in their lives and go fight the threat. Hard to continue a forever war when the soldiers figure out they were lied to and they can go home at any time.
Sadly, it all went sideways straight off the bat with Washington and the Whiskey Rebellion.

I think my time in the military was moreso to spend time attaining a particular experience and skillset, and to train to add to my overall lethality and capability as an individual, and to be familiar with battle tactics, maintain excellent physical shape, learn absolute self sufficiency and resilience, to operate under extremely dangerous and uncomfortable conditions and still be capable, coordinated, fast, enduring, and lethal. To learn this mindset took earning your keep, and understanding that through a lot of crippling stress, isolation, and being broke for a long time through hardship that I have the resilience to be ready and prepared for life, to defend others, my country, my homeland and it’s people, and prove my loyalty as an Infantryman to the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies, foreign.. and domestic.

Besides this major downfall, I am someone with many skills, a well educated mind, and motivation to always learn/better myself.
I always said if someone were to offer to help me pay for a facility that safety gets me off my prescription medication, I would go immediately without question.

You don't have to serve in the armed service to serve your country. Doing your civic duties (voting, whether you think it actually counts or not) owning a firearm, training tactically, staying informed, building your community up, and being a good father/mother/brother/sister/son/daughter. The real problem with this is a large amount of people with this mentality tend to side with the "lets steal the election" demographic and dont realize that they're drifting towards it being 10x worse. Somehow the concept of "freedom" has been hijacked by people who want to control you, keep you poor and make your women into slaves.
More MEN dont need to come together, more REAL MEN need to build their women up into STRONG WOMEN. Train your boys, train your girls, prepare them for the ones who want them to be chattel.
Love some of the content on here but the idea of exclusively targeting "Strong men to build strong communities" sounds too much like militant religious conservatives trying to tell my daughter she's good for nothing but breeding. Im a woman raised by enlisted men. My grandfather retired from the Navy as a Master chief, my dad also served and then went into law enforcement before going into electrical work, and my brother spent time in Kuwait. As the only girl, my dad taught me to do my own maintenance around the house and to my vehicle without help of a man incase the need arises. He also taught me how to handle a fire arm safely. I often forget that I was privileged to be taught these things as a woman. While I share your beliefs that it is a man’s responsibility to lead, I also believe it is a woman’s responsibility to support her husband and make his burden lighter.
In modern society many young men aren’t even being taught these things. I’m so glad you came across my time line and I’ll be looking forward to your future endeavors.

All can shoot both guns and archery equipment (my personal preference hunting), own their own arms, 2 have archery equipment, and 2 are serving in the Marines currently. I'm in an a rural area of Ohio and the closest classes that come to, or are in Ohio is a 3 hour trip one way from me and that adds to the expense and that is tough. I am also a little "Challenged" as in I have had 3 hip surgeries on my left hip and although I move pretty good I still can't run full bore. My reason for wanting to take some classes is so that I can learn for myself but also get proficient enough to pass the knowledge on to the local "Youngsters" who have ambition and determination that live in and around our little town and the little town that is 4 miles away.. I have convinced a lot of the locals that no one is going to fight off a group that has ill intent all by themselves and they especially aren't going to fight off a group of bad people with their 4 shot, bolt action 30-06 or 22-250.. I will keep looking and praying that a knowledgeable person or group of people venture close enough for a class that I, or a few people can attend, hopefully at least to help me unfuck my all of a sudden uncomfortable grip and form on my pistol that left me after two years of not shooting any more than 50 pistol rounds. My rifle shooting and form stuck with me for the most part but I'm sure a knowledgeable set of eyes could help me tighten up my rifle shooting

I’m a Veteran who served before and after 9/11 and deployed for OEF and GWOT. As a former member of the military I will tell you that we eat our own and it’s an extremely frustrating and negative aspect of the “bro” vet community. These are the guys who call other vets POGs. I mean the irony is that we were supposed to learn how to operate as a team, yet we get out, grasp our own personal experiences, and crawl into a dark box looking down on anyone who didn’t sign up and raise their right hand and take the exact same path as us. I mean come on. This has to stop. If shit goes down, do you really want to withhold your knowledge, pigeon hole your family, friends, and neighbors, and let them die while you look down on them? I have gotten to where I pity other veterans who look down on civilians in such a manner. It’s pathetic and only exists because some of these veterans have let themselves go while civilians have spent their own time and hard earned money to better themselves. To all motivated civilians out there who want to learn how to defend what you hold dear-don’t ever quit. Keep going. It may fall to you to save your own life or loved ones, do you really care what some ex-Grunt curmudgeon thinks about what you’re doing with your life?

(I mean no hate toward you as an individual)
Nope, I don't care what they think. At least I kept my dignity and didn't sign up for an unlawful part of the federal government, to perform a task that had nothing to do with freedom and everything to do with destroying it. I considered joining after 9/11, but decided against it because I didn't want to be used in a foreign corporate war. The standing military is not a lawful organization, except the navy.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate individuals who did participate, but I do hate the system. Now that we've had the GWOT, there are more terrorists, less freedom and the economic situation is worse. Seems to me like the "mission", failed miserably. The founders warned us over and over again to NOT get involved in wars abroad, to NOT allow a foreign multinational corporate banking system. They warned us that cities are a threat to the health, wealth and freedom of the nation... ALL of those warning have been ignored and the consequences are coming to fruition.

Army Infantry Vet here, deployed with USASF to Afghanistan, did some fun stuff, was in for a while - and I dont understand it. I don't understand the same dudes I stood next to, look at people like this and think "Dirty Civilian" or "stay in your lane". Most guys I served with love I put out some information we learned, but one guy I lost contact with found my stuff and LOST IT. "WHY DO YOU NEED ALL THAT GEAR!??!" or "WHY ARE YOU TEACHING CIVILIANS THIS!?!?!?" like....because they need to know it? Everything I see people doing - getting into more than just shooting, learning some tactics, building a team, learning comms, learning land navigation, learning logistics - gets me hard every morning knowing average civilians are doing this. I want to give my perspective why I believe this - and why I think some fellow vets of mine dont.
Why I believe civilians need to do this is because the military WILL NOT come and save you. If we were ever invaded full force, you will not see American troops on your streets - youll see our invaders. Our military is not THAT big. Men (and ofcourse women) need to learn how to survive, how to defend themselves, how to stop your adversaries yourself with no help from the government. We all know we shouldn't trust the government with anything - especially with our lives. We need to be self reliant. Putting on a plate carrier and a helmet with NODs is NOT LARPING. Larping is "pretending" - but you guys are.not pretending. You guys are training. What I see all the civilians doing is real and I love it and I love being apart of this among civilians. I love being able to pass some information down to others and I love civilians teaching me stuff the military didn't.
Now, why I believe some veterans think its dumb (because I know a few that do) - they have PTSD, but as do I. They have anger issues, some DO get some sense of "entitlement" and it needs to be understood that a decent "chunk" of people who serve in the military (especially combat arms) tend to be sociopathic and will talk down upon you (I even had to question'd myself for a while if I was too because I just fucking loved getting into gunfights). Especially if, through their eyes, youre trying to do what they did for a living. Theyre angry, they checked out on life, and they see civilians doing what we used to do. A good majority of it is an "entitlement" issue. Another part of it Is they DO NOT understand or have seen the military in its full capacity - and do not understand our military or government will not come and save us. Again, they think you are LARPing. And another good portion is jealousy. Maybe if an SF veteran sees you guys in videos doing dope ass training with NODs and really, really good gear, it pisses them off they had to go through a whole pipeline to do that professionally - and you didn't. Its sad to me theres veterans out there that just dont understand this. Ive tried to make some of my fellow veterans understand and theres a chunk of them I just cannot make them understand. They truly, truly, believe the government will just take care of you - but we know they wont.
The argument I hear from some vets I know is "Well, they should have just joined the military then." When they know for DAMN SURE the military is NOT for everyone. The military is NOT just what the "Dirty Civilian" is doing. Theres far more too it and its not for everyone. Shit, even being in firefights is not for everyone and these same veterans I know have seen it first hand. We have seen guys literally just break down and lose it and cry for their moms in a firefight. We deal with it in the moment, and then we send them back to Bagram or J-bad or wherever to spend the rest of the deployment because they refuse to fight. They found out at the worst time ever - none of what we were doing was for them. And thats ok. It doesnt make any less than a man - its just not something you can handle. Some of us have limits and all our limits are different. Some of us preferred being in combat, over being back in the states. Back in the states its like youre in a Boarding School, while combat is like they took the leash off and let us run free. I could not fucking STAND being stateside. And Thats where it wasn't for me anymore.
I know this is some kind of TL;DR comment, but I want people to know there are veterans, there are former Mil/SOF guys who fucking loveeeeeeeee seeing this. Who fucking love seeing men and even women pick up arms, train to a high standard, and become capable fighters on their own. I rose my right hand and swore to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Alot of us believe that Oath is for life. The Second Amendment is not just about "the right to keep and bear arms". It states this nation will have a militia, that must be well armed and well maintained, as it is necessary to the security of our free nation - and for that? The right of THE PEOPLE to keep and bear arms - shall not be infringed.
Keep training, and keep training hard my dudes!

Never heard of you guys before this, absolutely fantastic video. Just want to say a few things
    1. I have a group I train with and I'm the only veteran, the guys I run with would run circles around most of the guys I was in the military with, being a dirty civilian is great and honestly guys who train who were never military are better than guys who were military for 4 years and then never touched gear again.
    2. Faith is absolutely essential I feel, regardless of the religion I agree. I am Christian my wife is Muslim (long story), and I will honestly will say whether you follow the Bible or something else having that moral compass and relationship with God is essential
    3. I love how you bring up its not about destroying but building, that's why most revolutions fail. There is no long term plan, just hate for what's there
    4. I also love how you bring up the fact that the shooting and combat side is only a sliver and you have to be competent in life, and that has to start somewhere
Fantastic video and I am definitely going to follow your stuff in the future.

I love this. I myself am serious about getting stronger in every aspect. I work on fitness, survival skills, homesteading, etc., and am a believer of traditional roles and values - they've stood the test of time.
I used to be weak, in many ways. A strung out drug addict, entertaining extremely toxic relationships, broke, using loved ones, etc. I'm glad I got the chance to turn my life around. I view my training and education as something I *get* to do. There are people without the ability to walk, dress themselves, work on their home, etc. It would be a disgrace if I took that for granted.
I am trying to get my family (mostly siblings and close friends - I'm not married and don't have children) to take this life more seriously - to get fit and sober, learn sustainment skills, think about arming themselves. Sadly, most of them have too much faith in our government. One even told me they'd rather just die than have to run everyday. I am still trying, though. I'll give them a nudge here and there. Really hoping to find a community of like minded individuals in my area.
I came across your tactical homesteading video, I currently only have some backyard crops, but want to get my own land to start in earnest. I liked your "stick it to the man" attitude and your tactical mindset so much that I decided to check out your other content. Loving what I'm seeing so far. Keep up the great work, brothers. And they all learned from experts in the skillsets like first aid, land nav, etc. The only issue I've ever taken with non-mil people, are those that claim to be experts in tactics but have never employed them outside of a range - and only because sharing bad tactics gets people killed (and mil isn't excluded from that). Like the rest of your strategy it's a set of interconnected skills based on a lot of trial, error, blood, and sweat, and requires someone that knows to share that knowledge.
But that also intersects with making a point vs making a difference. You need both. Something that men lost is the ability to take criticism and turn it into something constructive. Failures in tactics, or food storage, or preps, can all get you killed. If people are apathetic and don't care, they aren't going to rip on you. So that leaves two types. Those that want to see you elevate yourself to better heights, and those that want to tear you down. The former builds you up, and taking that criticism in helps build resilience. The latter builds resilience as well, and is just a small taste of adversity to come. Just some food for thought.

The Christian church is apostate and against the 10 commandments. They teach the opposite of what the Messiah did, preaching faith alone, OSAS, pretrib rapture nonsense, and they're promoting pagan idolatry like Christmas and Easter. Google the origins of these holidays, it's all ancient Roman and Babylonian god worship that the Lord hates, found nowhere in the Bible. If you want to be saved then you need to actually start obeying the instruction of God, which means not being a partaker of this stuff and keeping the 10 commandments. The church follows the Roman Empire's 321 AD Sunday law instead of the actual Saturday Sabbath commandment, which is the same problem Christ had with the Pharisees
      Mark 7:6-7
      King James Version
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
We're supposed to follow the Messiah in truth. Flee from the lies of the church and repent. We can't break the Sabbath, eat abominations like pork and shellfish, or be a partaker of worldly idolatry like praying to wood statues or crosses or christmas and easter. Yeshua, the Messiah, taught you how to be great in the kingdom:
      Matthew 5:19
      King James Version
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Loving your neighbor means to rebuke sinners so they repent:
      Leviticus 19:17-18
      King James Version
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
But the hippie Jesus church prefers tolerance which is why they're going to be destroyed.

Good luck to you men. I have attempted to do a lot of work in my communities since 2016 in prep for what is now going on, and either people didnt believe there was a need, or they were too scared to show up on the radar. I tried to help admin with the threepers in my state back in 2018, but they didnt like that i wasnt ex-leo or ex-vet. Ive even just tried to give knifemaking courses to locals for free to help build community. One person, my neighbor, has kinda stuck around for about 2yrs now. Even the "weird prepper neighbors" up the street dont want anything to do with it. Not sure why but this has been an almost impossible dream for me. Even my own family refuses to train or even live conservatively.
Luckily i posess an unreal amount of totally random skills, basically surrounding survival, but not entirely. Only because ive always been a knowledge junkie, and always been able to see the downfall. But... all of the people that wont cooperate or learn just insist that "im sure youll handle it if shtf ever happens", as if its going to be a one-day event. We both know this is generational. This is "new life" level stuff.
Idk... ive basically given up, but im glad there are good people accomplishing these things out there. May the powers that be provide you, and guide you in times where the teachings youve had cannot.
    Godspeed.

I just came across your channel and this specific video. First time hearing the term, but have been on the same page that you speak about for a very long time. Have had numerous people, friends, family .. etc always talk down to me being responsible, train, and everything else related exactly to what you speak about here. - the people who shame those of us who should “ stay in line and let everyone tell us how to live “. Are the same who always said things related to the internet and security always saying “ well… if you aren’t doing something wrong you have nothing to worry about “… WRONG. As they collect every bit of data they can on everything. The problem is that we don’t fully know who actually has access to the data, what they do with it and how they will use such data and information. Knowing that you guys have stepped up, shared this label, and stand tall forward facing - I thank YOU. Had I not trained my brother to carry at the very least when out in the bayous, acres of land… etc. ( and his buddies ridiculed him constantly). He might not be here with us. Being jumped by 3 mountain lions( mom and 2 grown cubs), he would not have been able to defend himself. Beyond that being a responsible gun owner is not a passive action. It requires regular training and following the core rules of safety. I have taken on someone under my wing and set up a schedule to do even basic training not just let my beliefs regarding proper firearm ownership and safety, becoming second nature, but to ensure the numerous people out there that I have come across actually know what that means and what it takes I had my first for one session with them over the weekend and I was ridiculously shocked at what I witnessed, and had to correct immediately and almost and should have snatched the firearm out of their hand just simply going through a safety check and making sure the weapon was cleared, which only drives home even further the need to train this person. And Stupid but the actions they took and when I was giving commands to see what their reaction was because we were not at a firing range and we were not in a concealed carry class hi what’s the side myself and I’ll lead into them pretty hard I can’t have that happen again on top of the fact that they wanted to videotape me while I was on the firing line And I very explicitly follow hard range rules and I went over all of this with them and they thought it was so cool that I was doing this thing and I told them very specifically if they were not to move they’re supposed to stay in a specific position behind me, and then, if anyone’s rolled up on Liam, when we were training that I was to be alerted immediately, no matter if I was facing or not, and yelling is a thing and they thought it was all fun and games because we were on private property and I ended their training that day and I sat down with him and explained everything I don’t know what came over them if it was because we weren’t on the range or weren’t in the middle of a class and they’re not stupid but they did the most stupid thing you can do with the firearm and I told them the only time that you’ll be seeing that side of a firearm is win someone else has you in their sights. I don’t train because it’s cool I don’t train tactically because it’s some shit I watch on TV I train because training is important consistent just a generalized Fireline training not even tactical training is critical to being able to react and any moment in time, not in the malicious way people just don’t understand people think it’s a joke the thing that also concerns me the most these days and I saw years ago as well. As people going to concealed carry classes they were firing a gun there’s nothing wrong with that, but when they walk out because all the sudden they’re scared because of the things that topic sentence what neither being discussed that blows my mind because it just goes to show how naïve and ignorant people are. Yeah, they want to protect them selves, but they haven’t taken the time to even contemplate. The basic operation of a firearm, tearing it down, maintaining cleaning regular time at the range to get familiar and make it second nature is of the upmost importance just as much as it is every time you pick up a firearm you make a treat as if it’s loaded you check it every time and to see people go to those classes at since so many times it’s the first time they went out and bought it do you whatever concealed carry style pistol on, they realize that it’s not the one of the fits her hand, and shoots well or whatever it is, and to see people walk out with a shock and all of the hard facts of the whole classes are about a man it’s buy new means rocket science, but extremely serious responsibility and actions to take on. Everybody wants to be safe, but if you don’t invest the time, all you’re gonna do is become a risk and a liability to you to others and you’re going to be a statistic I’m extremely happy to find your channel and I hear you guys discuss these things even beyond what I’ve mentioned because it’s the reality of the world we live in; kudos. If you guys ever need any help or sharing stories, or whatever, don’t hesitate to reach out, I have seen all kinds of things just as much as you guys have, and it was almost like it was meant to be for me to just randomly come across your channel today I have several friends that are the same exact belief and the other ones are all on the other side of the fence even my own dad, he called my brother and I warmongers at one point years ago just because we had semi automatic pistols and now his opinion and perspective on life at the time was that there’s no need for all that well, the reality is years later, when a specific molecule you melt that was top-of-the-line everything in the box and ready to go and yell reputable company. I hit them up and I’m fucked. I don’t know how many I personally talk to people in the buying, but he actually went out and purchased one because of everything. I told him about it and the same guy that called me a warmonger understands now that we know life is life and the old adage of call the police and call pizza guy and see who gets there first I am it’s true, we have the right to protect ourselves. In various manners, and owning a firearm is a very serious responsibility. You pull that sugar there’s no take backs and being a responsible owner outside of all the other factors, you guys discuss is some of the most important mission, critical actions, and knowledge that you must have just because you’re old enough to go purchase does it mean anything when I was 18 years old the mentality of an eight year old that era was well above and beyond what I’ve seen recently I just had this discussion not a week ago with some friends of mine because I was at a gun show a couple of years ago and saw 318 year olds walking around they just purchased you’re the first rifle lol of course it was a semiautomatic this and that platform and all I heard was them cackling like a little children about how this is just like in the game That is the wrong and Talladay wrong thought process in the wrong perspective to take on any of it. You pull the trigger and there’s something at the other end of that you must be understanding the repercussions of your actions let alone the ownership thereof and it is a major responsibility and right, but that right comes with responsibility. No different than driving a car But yeah people that equate those two things together. Regardless of the fact that you could be driving a three-quarter ton or a ton and a half vehicle and come up on say somebody on a motorcycle they don’t have any protection or as much protections they can, but there’s no airbags there’s no real crash zones and crumple zones. You hit the pavement. You’re lucky to get up and I just hope and wish and do my best to offer even the simplest of training to any of my friends and acquaintances, who I find out purchase firearms for the first time or a new style or platform that I like used to my own brother bought a new platform he is not familiar with who called me personally for advice, and I found out at Christmas that he did go out and purchase it over a year ago he’s never fired at once, and I have extended out to him the same thing and extend it out to several People and it all starts with tearing it down and the link it back up and understand how to maintain it then going out to the range and starting to learn and get a feel for things. Just boggles my mind. Keep up the good work!

What an amazing video and channel concept. I'm a 10-year vet. Having served in the Navy, the only training I got in firearms was shooting a 1911 or a shotgun off the fantail at sea. I have always owned guns and fully supported the right to keep and bear arms but it was never something I put a lot of time and passion into. When Obama threatened to ban ARs after his election, I decided it was time to get one (some?) before they were gone. In the years since, I've put in a lot of time reading, studying, and yes, watching RUclips. I'm hitting 70 years of age far sooner than I had expected so I can't do the level of prep and training that you younger folks are doing but I'm extremely glad that you are doing them. I have been doing more to be prepared, stocking up, range time, and mindset.
I'll say that I am not an anti-government activist. I will use everything I have, including resources, my brain, my skills (such as they are), my blood, and my life, to defend the Constitution and even Biden's government from those who would overthrow it but I hope it never comes to that. I think a much more likely scenario for our dirty civilian skills is going to come from just the increase in crime and from criminal gangs coming in from all over the world. But I don't spend a ton of time worrying about even that. I just want to be as prepared as I can be to defend myself and my family from whatever the threats may be. I try to be open minded and aware of what potential threats there are but it is just as likely, perhaps more likely, that the threat I might need to defend against is something completely surprising.
If I understand what you guys are doing it is just build skills, exercise the rights to keep them and so that others begin to recognize these behaviors not just as rights but as normal and common activities of free men. Like I said, I can't keep up with you on training but I am looking forward to viewing many of your existing, and hopefully all of your new from today, videos.

It’s worth checking out. Even though I no longer attend church I still have six months supply of food & water for my family and need to build up to two years. I hope we never have to use it. This is honestly really exciting! RUclips recommended this to me, and I'm in. I love the ideas you put forward.
I'm at the beginning stage of just getting into actually owning guns, no military or LE background. And I did not grow up around guns.
But I shouldn't need to do that just to be able to learn how to use my gun, and figure out what gear I need.
This is honestly exactly what I'm looking for. Yes firearms are important but I also want to think about everything else that goes around it. And I don't just want to keep to myself, I want to encourage others around me. There's this idea that when SHTF you can just grab your backpack and AR and head into the woods and that's all you need. Sure in a fantasy setting that sounds nice. But ultimately you're going to need people around you that you can rely on, and they you that will ride whatever happens out. There still begs the question how do you go about building which is something I see missed a lot of times. That's something I want to learn myself as well.
I also really like your position of "I'm not an expert". Which is really refreshing. I'm completely new to all of this stuff, and it can seem intimidating just seeing experts and thinking "How can I possibly be at that level?"
Also the point of don't focus on destroying focus on building is really powerful. I frankly don't have the energy to constantly be outraged at everything the ATF or some company does. I'd rather put my energy towards something more productive. Yeah I'm not saying I'm fine with how things are. But I don't want to just focus on that stuff. There's got to be more productive things to worry about. And I appreciate how you said that.
Honestly from this first podcast this really is appealing to me. The topics you talked about are more or less thoughts I had playing in my head for a while, and this really spoke to all of that. So honestly thank you!
I cannot wait to see where this brand goes! After watching this video I'm in for the long-haul with y'all. Dirty civilian is a badge I'll wear with pride.

First step is forming good communication. What are your shared goals? What can you teach one another? How are you physically going to communicate in a bad situation?
Second is logistics. How are you going to feed your families? Do you have a way to replenish food and other supplies? How do you get from point A to Point B? How do you recover a member of your group in a bad situation?
Third is the high speed tactical stuff. Defending what’s yours comes first. Kicking in doors and taking the fight to the enemy comes second.

I like the reimagined concept of the Dirty Civilian. Seems like an honest way to look at the self while nourishing skills and the ability to handle troubles. Subscribed!
Edit: plus points for Lycaon Pictus mascot ~

Great minds think alike. I've been brainstorming ways to bring my circle together to become more effective and prepared for what's to come. This channel/group is what I need to use as a template for this. Keep up the good work 👏

On one hand, my knee jerk thought is this, “We don’t talk about the fight club.”
For civilians like me with no mil/leo hx, I have been grieving that America has cultivated an attitude that regular people don’t have the right to be exceptionally combat-conditioned, especially women, and the world I live in is populated with people who are pathetically unaware and unprepared to defend themselves or their families, much less their neighbors, churches, and communities. In fact, all my life, we have been discouraged from having a mindset of being competent in a fight. Women in particular believe that a man should protect them, and now I look around and most women I know don’t carry any weapons at all and they don’t even think about it. People in average American society are living in a dreamworld and refuse to acknowledge that we are extremely vulnerable and could never prevail in a conflict situation.
Thank you, gentlemen, for opening this conversation up to the general population and for creating a new perspective about what it means to be extraordinary. It is high time that people begin to take personal responsibility for their own welfare and the global welfare of our country.
