Did your essay give you anything, does IB really works? Last few weeks and I'm done too but I don't think that these traditional education systems still work, I mean I'am not defending here the online education systems (which we are doing today because of this virus) by saying these, I mean the content, contents are traditional. I am living by earning money and thanks to my mindset back then I did learn a programming language for a week and this keeps me alive and earns me money. Just a couple hours of learning something made me nearly a millionaire. Can IB make this? Can IB buy me food, maybe car or a house? A couple of really important knowledge can.

Indigenous people need to stop romantisizing the past.
Paleolithic knowledge is just not all that helpful in todays world.
The necessities of survival have shifted.
Locally sourced foods are less important.
Indigenous people need to wake up to the fact that the world requires a different skill set today.

      @@rsj10 prove me wrong.
Tell me how does making stone axes or digging for grubs help you get by today ??
Why are indigenous communities all suffering from poverty poor health and mental illness ??
      The statistics speak for themselves.

@@warwicklewis8735Read a book man... You are making a fool of yourself.
Keep trying to explain how your way of thinking is better than someone else's.
The value is the culture itself, AND is embedded in the cultural practices (and embodied in the people) that are directly tied to the place, WHICH create health and well being, passed on from generation to generation. There are lots of Indigenous scholars from different places around the world who explain this in their own way... Look up Vandana Shiva or Gregory Cajete or Albert Wiggan for three examples of many.
The key that you don't seem to grasp is that these practices are useful for the PLACE in which these people live (see the video again if you didn't understand it the first time). It is place-based knowledge which is essential to health and well being. It is not "digging for grubs" as you seem to focus on, but gathering nourishment...
There are increased levels of poverty and mental illness (in part) because of the atrocious treatment of the people,... land and culture - which you are (in part) demonstrating through your ignorant mindset. Mistreatment and abuse of power and so much more has eroded healthy lifestyles that have been maintained (up until recently) for hundreds of generations. It is stupid mindsets like yours that continue to create space for ongoing mistreatment of people who are in fact more informed about the world and about how to treat the world than you could apparently fathom. You have absolutely no compassion...
What bullshit statistics are you trying to refer to?
