I met her playing basketball in dhs cali with her friends or fam. I was 15 and walked up to her and told her that she inspired me to be who I am and not be afraid. Of course I wasn't expecting a direct response but she nodded and I can tell I made her day.

kween Naiomi I always notice that the people who have difficulties with their appearance or restrictions in their bodies have more drive and ambition than other "normal" people. I think it's because "normal" people take what they have for granted and so it's easier to be complacent and complain instead of being grateful and being inspired by others. They think pouting on social media over their own appearance is something to be admired but behind that facade they are deeply unhappy in that their self esteem is so low that's what they need to do. when i was in junior high school I was bullied by two girls I would never forget their name Arlene and Jackie! I cried every day! and all because I was poor. my mom had a lot of children so me and my twin sister we struggled. we wore the same clothes and even each others clothes and I was much bigger than my sister. I hated those girls for picking on me. I never forget those words of me being poor and they used to put gum in my hair and beat me up after school almost everyday. God forgive me but I hate those girls. so God blessed me for being strong!

Her self confidence and the manner she goes trough life without worrying what others think is extraordinary! The condition she has is actual pretty serious but I'm glad it hasn't effected the way she breathes or eats. Anything that disfigures the mouth in this manner can be serious to the respiratory system. She can survive on supplements but even that the formation of the mouth interesting. Keep doing what your doing girl! Live your life to your happiest!
You're right, her condition is quite serious as it affects her respiratory system, as well as her ability to take in nutrition. It's wonderful that she doesn't let anything stop her from pursuing her dreams! However, she noted that she breathes through the "hole in my throat", and gets her food through the feeding tube directly into her stomach. Both require careful care and maintenance, but it seems she lives a full, balanced life even with these challenges, which is awesome, so good for her! 👍👏

I used to hate my nose, which is a bit crooked due to an early accident. I always thought that I would have surgery when I would be old enough. Today I'm 46 & I never had any plastic surgery. I also learned to love & accept it. If she can, everyone can.

I think it's because "normal" people take what they have for granted and so it's easier to be complacent and complain instead of being grateful and being inspired by others. They think pouting on social media over their own appearance is something to be admired but behind that facade they are deeply unhappy in that their self esteem is so low that's what they need to do. I'm always inspired every time by these extraordinary people. They are real rockstars!

I mean, I know that you all just want to cheer her up by telling her that she is beautiful, no matter if she's got that disability or not, and of course that is OK. But then I read things like, "Oh you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen" and well, sorry, but no. All of you saying that she looks better than you, than she's prettier than half the women with no deformities, you know that's not true, 100% of the people with no disabilities would never in a million years trade their faces to have hers and you know that's true. Why does the way she looks matter so much to you? Why not compliment her on her skills, on her way to handle her disability? Why are people basing someone's worth according to the way they look and throwing out the fact that not everything is about being attractive and looking beautiful? Some of you are saying this woman isn't pretty. In my opinion, she is, infact she's beautiful. I saw this one comment saying that people wouldn't want to be her though, I agree with that. I wouldn't want to be getting stared at or getting name called, like it or not, I'm telling the truth. I still do think she's an amazing person inside and out but I wouldn't want to be her. I'm so sorry I said this, I do feel bad, I really do.

She is not physically attractive but her personality is extraordinary. That's my opinion and it really shouldn't matter. I think as people we tend pity people because of their ailments. Like saying she's still beautiful even with her deformity is an example of that. I personally don't think she's pretty and refuse to be guilt tripped because people feel sorry for her. I don't wish to be her because we live in a society where looks are everything and I wouldn't be able to handle all the negativity. I don't feel compelled to lie about my opinions. I'm honest but that doesn't mean I'm gonna spam her with name calling. That would be treating her like she's less than human. The intention of spreading good messages is good. I'm all for it. But when a person (such as myself) does not feel moved to call encourage her off of false hope, it shouldn't disrupt what your doing. Our minor opinions shouldn't get in the way of people who do feel sympathy for her and want to encourage her.
