QUESTION PLEASE !!!!! I have a Bichon and shi shu mix. he's white with cotton hair he has a long afro but it just falls flat the volume of his hair just flows every where goes every which way but stays flat FLAT . THE AFRO only puffs up when I freshly comb it then within 5 mins or less the afro falls and begins to go flat again instantly. Can you please tell me what to do to fix this problem ? please I need you help I am a 1st time doggy mom as well. thank you

Praise when standing still, do small daily sessions. Increase daily sessions by minutes and hopefully he will stay still. Make sure he is not matted at all. Start fresh with a short haircut
I’m looking for a Bichon Frise. I was looking on Puppy Spot. I want a Bichon that is from a top breeder and that is of the whitest in color all over. That comes from a very healthy family line. Do you know of any breeders that are consider highest in this line of Bichon breeders? TIA

My Bichon is in desperate need of a grooming, but given the current pandemic, everything is closed. I brush him everyday but he is stating to get some mats anyway. Do you think I should try and do it myself? And if so, do you have any tips for someone who has never groomed a dog before?
It's up to you if you feel confident to groom him yourself. Brushing and combing is highly recommended and can be easily done then actually clipping and scissoring.
Looks very cute, but I really would like to see a video, with the bichon with long ears, but you cut short and blend like a bichon head. This ears ots already short, and the pattern is already there...

Do you trim ears if the hair hangs down straight and.do you shorten the hair on ears to length of top of head
