Blast from the past - thank you I remember one day, it was particularly quiet, no lines. I rode it 8 or 9 times in a row.... then decided to vomit = GOOD TIMES
This was my 1st rollercoaster when i was 7 years old. I didn't ride a rollercoaster for about 5 years after this traumatising moment. This rollercoaster was born from the depths of hell.
I went here in 2000, got to ride this one over and over about 5-10 times as it was so quiet. The lock on my seat jammed and i was stuck in there for an hour whilst maintenance tried to get me out....
I literally almost died on this ride, so if it, or the same design is still operating anywhere they should look into it. I was about 10 or 11 years old from memory. I was the correct height BUT I was quite thin with narrow shoulders. The G-force almost threw me out the front gap of the overhead safety bar. I remember holding on and screaming for my actual life. I have NEVER been on a ride since and will never again.
I remember walking around the park and I would get scared from people screaming like they were being murdered. But then everyone would just say “that must be the demon going again”
It was sold to new owners who were absolutely hopeless with money, and it went broke - $4 million dollars in unpaid debts.. and growing by the week. Went into receivership..
I miss that place heaps! Better than any theme park we have now..
Me too Wonderland Sydney is my favourite Theme Park in the west of Sydney

I did exactly the same thing straight after eating breakfast at Wonderland. 🤮
Seems like such a basic rollercoaster these days, but back then it was pretty good.

I did the Bush Beast first, and remember hearing the wooden supports creak as it went past.
The good old days
Golden memories!!!

No wonder Sydney is losing tourists, nothing to do anymore much for them.
