Wow... this is absolutely beautiful. Coming from the north I never heard about a place like this. Thank you @WodeMaya for showing us and the world all this 🙏🏽
I was following Mohamed's intelligent response to the interview and felt he spoke great with the point on the situation with living overseas, just until he mentioned "the mindset" of Nigerians as the drawback to them contributing back to their country. At that point, I would disagree for sure, knowing that most who had travelled didn't have families or fathers as wealthy as his to buy up or acquire pieces of lands. Like he mentioned, nothing that's been made as profit from the resort has ever been used or touched but rightly re-invested back to the business, showing his family must and does surely have other source/sources of income plus he was schooled in London as well. Most other Nigerians are still busy trying to even build a home in their community for their families or parents from the job they're working abroad. Others are sacrificing to train their siblings, even as others have decided to totally move out their families from Nigeria due to the harsh conditions they know they're in. Well, obviously, there are a lot of factors I could point out on here but for the time, I am unable to do so. All, the same, it's commendable to know such a beautiful project does exist currently in Kano and Nigeria. It is one we should all be proud of for sure as a progressive people.
I understand your point, but if all the rich people in Nigeria were investing in Nigeria, it would be a different place. At least his family is creating jobs for the local community and reinvesting their profits. Note, they have a choice to utilise the profit as they deem fit but they opt not to. Its a choice, not because they're wealthy but its a sacrifice to accomplish a vision
@@bukolalawal7935 Everything you said was right and I can't agree more. However, while you're focusing on the rich people, my argument was rather based on the poor Nigerians who had to travel out to earn a living and who haven't been able to do the same thing as the interview guest (Mohammed) is currently doing. So, I am saying that most of the struggling, poor Nigerians haven't the resources or opportunities he's had; and even when they make as much money, they are mostly weighed down by the constant pressures from family and siblings alike. All the same, we'd praying and hoping that more people would be inspired by his endeavours to begin doing even just a little, as it is ofcourse, one step at a time...lol
@@bukolalawal7935 who are the rich people? The oil barons who do not have a drop of oil in their backyard while the real resource owners wallow in abject poverty because the military used guns to rob them of their wealth transfering it to the FG? These categories of people woukd engage in ventures of this magnitude. We rejoice with Mohammed. But Nigeria needs to be restructured to open up the Country FOR EVERYONE,; so we can harness all the constitutionally arrested and rested talents and energies in every nook and cranny, for development.

People will go for holidays outside Africa not because they don't know that African has a lot of beautiful places to visit but, because they have inferiority complex or like to show off. I'm happy that someone like Wode Maya, a fellow West African, is promoting Africa, from an Africans perspective. Well done bro.
Not only BBC or CNN even mostly Nigerian are themselves saying bad about the country my brother this is the truth
The BBC, the United Kingdom or CNN has never destroyed the embassy of Nigeria in their country. Ghana destroyed the embassy of Nigeria in Ghana and locked up the shops of Nigerians in Ghana recently. So, identify your enemy correctly.
@@asitis4661 u don't even have facts, u just follow hearsay. Ghana never demolished Nigeria embassy, it was a residential building they were putting up for their workers on a land they didn't acquire properly from the owners. Ghana will keep locking the shops of those non law abiding Nigerians who think they can do whatever they like. FYI those law abiding are still doing their trades in Ghana in the local markets, shops, roadside cell phone sellers/repairers etc. Why are you guys opening your borders now, funny people, you see how Nigerians are suffering and skyrocketing of your foods prices.

Very well said.
Well said. You hit all the high points.
And despite everything, Nigerians, will support a good thing when they see one.
Or the Executive, Legislooters and Representathieves who sit on top of Nigeria's Corruption fortress. Aso Rock?
Govt contractors, Civil Servants.

Welcome back. Your guest shocked me when he said “the whole world went to Dubai in the month of December.” Imagine that. I can guarantee you that a significant percentage of those visitors were Africans or of African descent. Information is power. Hopefully this video will reach some of them and show them that there are better options available on the continent. Why go to Dubai and waste all that money when you can have a similar (or far better) experience right here on the African Continental for A FRACTION OF THE COSTS ?
People will go for holidays outside Africa not because they don't know that African has a lot of beautiful places to visit but, because they have inferiority complex or like to show off. Some people believe that western world is way better than African world. They like telling people that they bought something abroad or just came back from holiday abroad. Tell me, how can our economy grow if you don't support yours? What they don't know is that Westerners make so much money off us and they enjoy coming over so people can never be grateful of something except they suffer to get it.
Nigeria needs to improve on security otherwise people will be scared to travel round the country
