Cardiac Rehabilitation at Howard County General Hospital

Patients who have had a heart attack or other cardiac condition can greatly benefit from the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Howard County General Hospital. This program helps patients with diet, exercise and gives them the confidence they need to slow the progressive nature of their heart disease. I had open heart surgery to remove a benign tumor because of fears it might break apart and do irreversible damage. My 80 year old arteries were clear (thanks to the Mediterranean diets my spouse provided) and surgery went quickly giving the doctors time to do the maze procedure which did wonders for my AFib. I had several good years thanks to Dr Jackson and and the first cardio exercise group and I hope to get a repetition of my experience.
