the directors cut is pretty weak tbh, ending is completely different too, i only liked the metro shootout from the directors cut.
Btw you will know you're watching the original because the first scene is at some doctor's clinic and cause of the blue hue colors

Not only that but also have Sam Lake write the film since he’s the one who wrote the first 2 games to begin with. Even if they couldn’t get James, they could of gotten Timothy Gibbs to play him (he’s the face model for max in the second game).

The whole movie is a disaster and a wasted opportunity to actually make a really good remake of a pc game.
Gerard Butler,Hugh Jackman,Clive Owen,Mel Gibson, Russell Crowe..there were so many better choices of actors and directors... it's a shame that someone accepts this
