@@Jaaayminajestry definitely yes, i just got my pet gorilla to spasm over the controller with hwoarang and he got bushin and he is almost promoting to tekken king 🦍🦍💪💪
Great watch and definitely helps! I was playing against some of the people from my locals FGC, and asked for tips on how to get better, and one of the things they told me was that my punishment game needs some work. So i started working on punishing moves and already there i saw improvements. Just outside of Red rank for the first time ever and I'm excited to keep pushing and learning, and these tips will definitely help me on my journey!
U are the legend my friend. This is the fastest way to become a master in this game. U can literally just use the understanding of these tips, choose any character, figure out the basic combo and the punishment of that particular character, and wreck any opponent in lower rank
Nice video spag. As a request, consider making counter videos for the new characters. Such as general weakness, tips, common setups/traps, punishment in the matchups would be really helpful for both new and returning players
Wow, I've spent a week trying to understand frames and I thoguht I had the general Idea. But your second tip was SO WELL PUT, and now I FINALLY actually get the real power of frames and why they are such a crucial strategy to every match. Thank you so much! Definitely subscribing 🤩
Bro can't wait for your Jun guide. I main Jun in T8, she's super fun to play. I'm stuck at orange ranks and many tips from those videos were helpful. I need to practice SS more and don't whiff that much.
Very informative video thank you. As someone down below already asked, me too would love to see stand alone video about Jun:) Either way, keep up the good work.
I love how you called the vanquisher, intermediate haha!!! If somebody gets to vanquisher they are better than 99% of people playing the game. There in the top 10,000 of potentially like millions of people playing. Keep in mind the overwhelming majority of people that by fighting games never play ranked matches because they are not that good at them, as well as most people just play games for fun. But overall good video I need to work on my movements.
Great video! A absolute must know for everyone :). Been playing tekken for many many years, and i've learned a couple of thing here i did not know about. Thanks alot! :D
I dont care about frame traps. I play king and all the r... players who are carried by many plus moves are cancer.. people who play hwoarangs, fengs, dragunovs etc.. pure cancer
Good shit man. I'm in the upper ranks now with Bryan and I don't think I could come up with a better shorlist of the stuff you need to do to win at Tekken.
I'm stuck at flame ruler wit lars but I mop the floor with blue ranks in quick match. And beat them enough for them to respect my level of skill. There's just way too many gimmicks in the game.
It’s because tekken 7 players have improved since tekken 7. Don’t downplay your own improvement man. Took me ages to hit red ranks, when tekken 7 came out. I hit it day one in tekken 8. A lot of the new players a stuck in green and yellow, soo u see nothing much has changed since tekken 7. Hence why tekken is a legacy game my dude
@@djfusionkotb the only new players that hit red ranks, are playing cheesy with Victor, or any other high knowledge check characters. Besides that, it’s pretty much intermediate to advanced.
It is very impressive to see a blind man be so good at a fighter
😂😂😂
The fact that he wears those thicc sunglasses and is always looking to the side is just👌👌
You forgot tip number 6:
Crouch underneath the mids, stand block the lows then jump over the highs. It's very useful when fighting Hwoarang.
Thx now i went from garyu to cavalry thx bro

just go online and start mashing you will get god of destruction in no time 👍
Definitely not

No definitely not. Button mashers will quickly stall and stop moving up the ranks until they learn.
@@alexmercer7083 def not
@@ibelieveitcauseiseentit9630 thats propaganda made by the tekken community to stop you from climbing. Start mashing NOW and ascend! 🔥🔥😱😱🙏🙏👍👍

Am glad you used jun because as someone that is trying to pick her up a lot of the tips are more easily internalized
Jun guide coming as well ❤ am eating too good lately

Really good video! Thanks for the advice looking forward to more tutorials. 😅
Thanks Spag. I’ve been a fan since your Katarina guides for Tekken 7.
Stuck Eliminator With my Steve Thanks 🙏
So people to break down sidesteps by each frame advantage and disadvantage, and what moves can be sidewalks and stepped

a lot of king and law players closed the video after seeing Dont Mash
Thanks Spag. I mean i knew all of these but it's still fun and helpful to look over some basics again.

high ranks doesn't matter skill matters
If you can't play, just pick Steve or Kuma and open special menu and just tap 1 & 2 , done your beating even good players

If you don’t mind me asking, how long did it take you to reach purple ranks?
Idk tbh
I'd say not TOOO long if we talkin progression. But I didn't really play ranked in between matches with my friends and quick matches.
How do we learn our frame traps ?
Look at the frame data and have an abacus on hand.
Cheers Spag! legend. Looking forward to the anti content
Any1 know how to do that follow up at 14:33 ?
Is red lower??
Nice
Tip #1 play Jun
No reason 2 side step, everything tracks, even if it doesn't ur gona get hit.
Practice ss timing, learn what moves beat it
You're gonna have a hard time fighting dragonuv then
