I thought he was a great artist but damn, what an absolute musician. Takes an absolute ton of talent to perform that well completely stripped down. The amount of soul he puts into every song is incredible.
I agree. His guitar tone is just unreal, his voice peerless.

I was blessed to get to see him on this tour four days before this show. No one I knew was able to go, but I wanted to see him regardless. It was easily the best decision I made in the 2010's.

I saw this show in Royal Oak (Detroit), MI, USA a couple of years back.... It's still personally my favorite show that I've ever been to. I went by myself, bought all 4 tickets at my table and just absorbed in the tunes.

Love this man and his music! This album was a great surprise, and has a serious energy about it. Not surprised he recorded it in a few weeks. Not to say his recent works have been bad (love them all) but these songs remind me of the TMOE a few years back which makes me so happy!

ENGLISH SPEAKING PEOPLE! I think he has a really good english dialect! Can you hear that english isnt his first language? Second question, if you were to determine his dialect, which has he? American obvi, but which state/city?
He has a mostly midwestern dialect, imo.
Sometimes I hear a little Queens.
I'd say a weak southern, like if a person who grew up in Alabama moved to Florida and lived there for while. (Yeah even though Florida is southern we still don't have any accent)
It's totally just a thing he does to sound more folksy though, in regular interviews you can hear he sounds more Swedish-American, which he is.

A true shame his record label insists on polishing his songs to death. Tried listening to them on Spotify, was absolutely underwhelming. No soul was left.

Now that I've had a longer look he seems a bit deranged or high to be honest, he does a lot of guitar mistakes and his voice sounds very rough, I've seen better performances from him
