The niche that has made me the most money over the past 2 years is 2006-2011 Honda Civic. I go to the salvage auction in person and inspect them before buying. I choose low mileage ones with very little damage. And I make sure I only pick ones which have been well maintained so I don't have to spend any money on mechanical stuff or tires etc. Once it checks all the boxes I over pay for them by $300-500 to make sure I get the car. Parts are widely available for Honda civic. It takes me just a few days to flip. There is too much demand for them. I usually sell them in one or two days. In the province that I live in Canada, you can get inspection and title paperwork all done within a few hours.
Thanks for the videos! I purchased my first rebuild last year. It was a 2016 Chevy Malibu Premier. Had light front end damage, 53,000 miles really nice car (still have it). Won the bid for 4900, with repair parts and auction/delivery fees I had about 9,000$ invested and high book last year was 21,000. I should've sold lol, figure it would've sold for 16-17,000$. Seems like the market is crashing according to KBB.
Excellent tips. I just got stated with my rebuilds so this was great. I normally buy from iaai auction, used copart before but sometimes you do not get who is selling the car and may be another buyer who got it and wants to get rid of it instead of an insurance. Where do you normally buy your cars from? Thanks, I agree, this channel will become huge! like the way you present things and seem to be very straight forward ....
Are there any benefits to getting a business license when doing a few of these cars a year from home garage? Adding to the expenses when car is complete there is tax, title, registration and insurance fees just to sell it (Buyer will want a test drive). Just wondering if there's a better way of just completing the car and selling without incurring those extra costs.
Dealers license covers all of those. You can see your states requiments online but it's definitely worthwhile. I was doing it as a hobby and it just happened to turn a profit. Best part is, FL only requires 3 sales a year.👍
@@bricecay1765 Thanks I’ll look into WV’s requirements. I haven’t tried to sell the 2 rebuilds i have yet. Hopefully put up for sale this week. But like you it starting as a hobby to slowly learn. Hopefully i can get more efficient.
PSY Amori no problem, you can great deals anywhere. Just never pay more than 1/3 of the true retail value. Stay closer to 1/4 if you can, be patient, and look for light damage stuff in the beginning .
I just started car flipping business sir. But I already sold 3 vehicle in Texas. According to texas law i can only sale 5 vehicles a year so what can i do to sell more than 5 vehicle’s?
Mr Tall. try putting them in your close friends or family members names or someone you can trust, or if it’s possible try to network and build a repoire with some local used car dealers to see if you can operate under them for a per car fee basis. I used to occasionally bring cars to consign to a local dealer and after a few years he offered to let me buy/sell under his license.

Do you need a license for this
"Think of your grandfather." My grandfather is dead, I don't think flipping a hearse will be very profitable.
