    Made this for dinner tonight along with Parmesan Asparagus, Garlic mashed potatoes and tomahawk steak. They loved it. Scallops were seasoned just right and seared to perfection.

    I have to buy some scallops now. I've never tried to cook scallops before, but now i need to try😊. You mentioned it could be a little expensive. However, cooking at home the right way is a very nice treat and much less expensive than going out, and they cooked wrong. Thank you for all your encouragement to cook excellent food.

    After clicking search , I was avoiding your video didn’t think much (forgive me) . I ended up clicking on it after 2 others that I didn’t finish watching (including Jordan Ramsey). I’m impressed , you did great , I will follow your recipe. Especially cause I have the garlic paste in the fridge, that I never used before. The scallops I got on sale are not as big.

    I'm happy that you mentioned the water in frozen seafood. I dry it overnight or all day in the fridge wrapped in paper towels. Solves that problem.

    AWESOME!!!!!!!! the better half LOVES scallops!! I let them sit in a good white wine for about an hour prior to cooking them and then pretty much follow the same steps you do!!

    Not only have I never had scallops, but I didn't know what they were until an hour ago. I was watching something, the name came up, so I googled.     I had them once. A big chain seafood restaurant put Scallops on my wife's plate by mistake. I ate them and they were very good. Seeing your recipe, I'll give them a try. Recipe looks super simple.

    I like how you did it on med-high for 2.5m 'cuz that is more forgiving for people new to cooking scallops. I do them all the time and have found that SUPER high heat in cast iron for 90sec per side leads to a better result but thats a more intensive/precise way of doing it and its easy to mess up. But its also a taste thing, I like that heavy sear and raw middle on most proteins.
    Nice easy pan sauce too but I would simply just pour it over them on the plate rather than tossing them back in to avoid over cooking.

    I've been cooking Scallops for years like this but I add two or three Tbls. of sesame oil to the sauce and it gives it a nice nutty flavor.

    Man I may actually try these now. I’ve avoided them due to all the reasons you mentioned. No idea they were so simple to make.
    A little smoked paprika on both sides could be nice.
