      It has more to do with the angle and way you hit it to force it to recoil very quickly. If your good you can with one but its twice as fast and half as much effort with 2 hands plus with 1 you have to decrease the distance the stick rises with each beat by half to get the same tempo plus 2 sticks gives a little more ompf if you know what i mean.

    • @harrymansfield6189
      @harrymansfield6189 4 years ago +1

      @@bauefrenchmen3126 yes, but I was talking about specifically talking about alternating. Drum rolls have the sticks bouncing off the drum and going back in a (semi) controlled way that isn’t exactly alternating, or at least definitely not “hit drum once with one stick hitdrum once with other stick”.

      @@KingOfTheRoost PPO doesn't have "generations" though, as it isn't a genetic algorithm. You could see the training steps as "generations" but they're not the same thing. All planes are indeed sharing experience and so the same network controls every plane (seperately)

      @Gerryflap 4 years ago +9

      @@lucassvedlund3851 Personally I'm actually surprised he got results this quickly since in my experience this can take a while. Just like with everything, initial progress is pretty fast but finetuning takes ages. You've probably noticed this with school/work projects as well. Also keep in mind that the planes have limited observations and probably can't see the other planes unless they're lucky. The planes also probably don't have memory and only see one frame.
