I love the whole melodic hardcore scene that came around. Styg, the ghost inside, Napoleon, climates, heart in hand, counterparts. There was a band mixing melodic hardcore with djent, adaliah.
I got into STYG my junior year in high school back in 2008 when I went to my first hardcore show and they were monumental for me. Love seeing them get love
Kick ass band. Saw them last year in Seattle. Randomly bumped into Jesse and his GF walking down the street a couple hours before the show. He was very nice.

Also ‘We Still Believe’ has imo the most underrated breakdown of all time. It even hits in the acoustic version which tells you how much of a banger it is.

This band is so good! I will always love their cover of Dog Days Are Over by Florence + The Machine as it is one of the best covers of all time.
