This came out like last year or the year before exclusively to the Dior website I picked it up at that time..I still really enjoy it but it’s great it’s more available now
Thanks for doing this review, Rebecca! My order for this finally came! I bought even though Dior shade range doesn’t typically do it for me. This is no exception. I got 2w as the lightest warm shade 🙄 I had to use a lot! of white pigment. I can’t make excuses for Dior with this. 2w was rather neutral undertones lacking orange, red, and yellow. I could see this working well for olive undertones. It lacks all of the ingredients I try to avoid so that’s a positive. It reminds me of the Armani Luminous Silk. The finish is natural but didn’t transfer and wore nicely all day. It didn’t emphasize dryness. I would say this is a good daily foundation! Easy. Yes fragrance and I think coconut content. No grain, SPF, talc, hyaluronic acid or alcohol. 🎉
Oh no, Jess ! I’m so sorry about the shade. What a pain to have to mix in pigment. It really is a nice one. oh darn it did I miss the coconut content? I gotta look back at that. But it does remind me of the Armani actually. Very good point.
Looks really nice. I was tempted by this one , except I don’t see it here in Canada 🇨🇦. 🤷♀️ Maybe eventually. Also have you heard that the backstage may be discontinued? Another utuber mentioned she thought it might. I hope not as it’s a favourite
We still get the Dior is it.. Neo Nude i think its called here in Australia I wonder if this is its replacement 😊 Thanks so much Rebecca, your a true gem❤
Hi Rebecca! I was curious about this foundation 2 years ago. I noticed it to be advertised as new on the Sephora App but I think it may be reformulated because it’s definitely not new.
Oh Kimberly! I haven’t noticed it AS much on this as I have even on some Too Faced and such. But yes. When I think of it, I do believe I know what you mean.
Hey Rebecca , thanks for this detailed review & the comparison with dior glow foundation . Which one you prefer more Dior nude foundation or Givenchy prism libre foundation
Hi Rebecca, this foundation looks great on you. Would you say the Dior Glow you compared this one to had more coverage? I am going through your old videos for the Sephora sale. Just watched the Makeup Forever HD Powder video yesterday where you loved it so much , will put that on my list. Have a great day!
And I still love that MUFE powder!!! The Dior glow does have a bit more coverage, primarily because it’s a traditional foundation so it sits on top of the skin a little bit more. That is not an insult. Just the way the product works. 💕 that being said, I think I actually prefer this version.
Hi dear Rebecca, this is such a wonderful foundation, and so far, the only Dior Foundation my sensitive skin really does not have any problem with. I tried more, but this is my favorite! How long do i have it, 1 think over a year? I have shade 2CR and love it, especially in summer, it's no to thick formula. I was smelling if it was still good last week, and it was/is! Strange that it's so late in the USA, really strange, but it's lovely stuff and loved the video as well!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
I didn’t see this foundation in California.( It may be at Ulta in CA but I do not shop at Ulta) I bought it overseas when my MIL passed away. It’s a beautiful foundation and it looks beautiful on you. I’m glad that it oxidizes because the 2.5 would be too light without it. I still like the Laura Mercier and Guerlain foundations better than this foundation. I do like this foundation. It looks very natural and skin like. It just doesn’t last as long as others that have been reviewed. Thank you for this review. 😘
Wow this looks so fresh on your face! I need to try this now- do you order the same foundation as your Dior forever concealer shade? I have 2 of those (one for under eyes and one for face) not sure how the shade system works since I don't wear their foundation right now.
I order the same shade as the concealer shade that I use for the face, rather than the concealer shade to brighten under the eyes, if that makes sense. They are pretty straight across-the-board with their shades.
This came out when the Chanel No 1 foundation came out (and Givenchy Skin Caring Glow), so it’s not related to these Serumy foundations. I really wanted the Saie and Guerlain to loom like the AD photos lol
It has been reformulated actually. And interestingly enough, that chanel no 1 release was kind of the first iteration of the serum foundations we see today. Crazy but true. I agree with you entirely on the Saie and Guerlain. But that Guerlain with the Charlotte HFF is soooo good. 💕
Like I mentioned I've had it for a while but never reached for it and watching your video now I'm trying to recall of that's because of the luminosity?? I don't like a luminous finish on my skin....guess I need to pull it out and try it again!!!
Rebecca, I just checked on our Dior website and it doesn't appear that this is a new foundation, unless it's been revamped. The very same one, with the identical name and coloured lid, has reviews going back a few years! It looks exactly the same as the one you're holding up. Maybe, with all of Dior's many foundations it has been overlooked? The price here is AUD$99.00, which sounds as if it's the same item. Not that I'm interested in purchasing but thought I'd let you know. PS. We still haven't got the new Collection, yet plenty of older items from last year!🇦🇺💖🕊
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I'm relegated to Spam now? At least that's one better than mistakenly taking my Channel completely down the year before last! Just as well Ive been behind with my replies. Dior has been reformulating a number of products lately. Probably an excuse to charge more!💖
Hey Rebecca, I am a Belgian subscrider and this is my holy-grail foundation for 2 years now. What moisturizing primer do you mostly use under the matte one ?
Hello Dina! You have the loveliest country. Belgium!!!! AMAZING!!!! I tend to use the Charlotte Hollywood Flawless Filter but now, also, the Westman Atelier liquid super loaded or the new Chanel product, too!
I’m so confused because I bought this at least a year ago. It was exclusive at the time to dior website. I wonder if this is the same thing or reformulated
Supposedly it’s reformulated but I wonder if the Dior exclusive last year was the same formula? It’s a complete mystery because the brand is quiet about it so as not to influence sales negatively I guess. But it just makes us all scratch our heads.
I tried the matte versions in so many shades. The 2.5N was too light, 3N too dark. How would you compare the shade in 2.5N matte to the nude 2.5? Thank you!
Very very very similar. If you are on Instagram, you can give me your screen name and I will swatch them both right next to one another for you in the sun.
I don't think this is a new foundation. The Natural Nude has been out for over 15 months before the release of the newer Matte & Glow versions, at least here in Australia unless this has also been reformulated. I tried a sample of this a long while back, when it was during covid and they weren't colour matching instore. I really liked it. I seem to be 2N across the board in all the Dior foundations I've tried. I like that they are consistent in their shades. Looks great on you.
Hello Carolyn! Exactly. That’s what I was saying. For some reason, it’s new in the United States and only available at Ulta and now on the Dior site but it appears to have been available in Europe and, now I realize as you say, in Australia for quite some time. Even for a few years. So I’m kind of wondering if this is a bit of a hold up from supply chain issues during the lockdown.
@@NotFitforPrintBeautythats so unusual for us to get something well before the US market. Yes maybe due to supply chain issues, which are still ongoing.
Carolyn, thank you for sharing that you wear 2N across the board. I usually wear 2N but those side by side swatches of the same shade on Rebecca’s arm has me second guessing. I know they’re not 2N but they look so different from each other.
I think it was released here in Italy in 2021, maybe at the end of the year, but I am not sure. It looks great on you. I really like the matte one, and I usually don't go for serumey foundations, since I never seems to like them on my skin. Myabe, though, I'll try it if I get a chance.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty maybe they reformulated it here too, then! I know there was never a big marketing campaign here, even when it launched before, so maybe it is a new formula here as well, they just didn't tell us! 😁
Just order this foundation from Ulta and OMG! The finish is absolutely stunning and it last! I use Hourglass veil primer underneath and Charlotte Tilbury setting spray and last me through a yoga class .
@NotFitforPrintBeauty I agree I think there will be more to come as well. Probably the rest of 2023 and then we'll move on to something like moose foundation again (dream matte moose I'm looking at you!) Or whipped cream style.
Love this foundation but packaging is superrr annoying the pump stops working after 2 or 3 uses and you have to keep taking it out and putting it back in. I too live in the uk and have had this for a year or 2 xx
I do think we had this before but they reformatted it recently . I remember Macys having a nude version of this years ago . I still don’t like that perfume is in Dior products .. they perform well but the fragrance needs to go . It’s literally so outdated compared to so many other lines that have finally gotten the news flash. It looks pretty on you tho ! But what doesn’t ???🧐🤷🏻♀️😂😂😂
Hello Rose! (I love the name Rose. My gorgeous grandma was named Rose) thank you so much for the kind compliment. I agree with you about fragrance. It seems that these houses like Dior and Chanel and givenchy are so committed to the fragrances they make that they put it in everything. But I just don’t want it on my face. So I agree with you
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I get the migraines like you mentioned . Thanks for the updates on all these complexion products! So many it makes my head hurt . 😂
I tried a sample of the forever skin glow foundation and I really like it but the spf ingredients in it keep me from getting it :( why bother spf 15 ?? I mean their is no reason to put that junk in there so it breaks sensitive people out and especially when the spf expires . I really want it cause it looks really pretty and light on the skin but I know what's gonna happen I already have a few tiny bumps on my chin that wernt their before testing the product for 3 days now , I'm torn cause it looks great on and even though it has a heavy scent it fades unlike the Givenachy skincare glow foundation idk what they did to that but it was my favorite when it came out and over the past like 2 years the scent has become stronger I guess cause the first and 2nd bottle wasn't like this 3rd bottle.
Fragrance and SPF additives are maddening. You know I have this theory that sunscreen provides a nice base on which to build the consistency of the foundation and, in another video, a viewer who is a chemist said that I am correct. And then since there’s SPF in there they just use it as a marketing tool. But really, it’s just a good cheap base to make for the consistency of the foundation. I have always thought that that’s true and I think I might be right.
Reformulated is indeed the answer. It’s soooo hard to find out this info because they kind of hide it with marketing speak. It’s like repromoted eye shadow colors. You have to go full detective mode.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I can’t get over the color difference in the 2 formulations. I was looking at it and thinking I guess I could go with 2.5 since it goes so warm. I would usually get 3. Nail bitter lol

@@veronicamcminn7775 true. And often oxidization is different by shade. Honestly. As if you need me to tell you that. That rainbow on my arm in my comparison video was borderline shocking.
I love Dior but…I think I'm the only person who has had this foundation burn my skin. everyone tells me it's impossible and after this foundation I had huge problems with this burn. The foundation base even burned my hand on which I put a bit of it to check the consistency 😢
Wow!!!!!!! First of all, I am so so so sorry. Secondly, what a mystery. I wonder what ingredient it has that irritated you. Have you had it happen with any other foundations? And more importantly have you had it happen with any other of these serum foundations?
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty No! ONLY Dior Forever that's how it works on mine. I couldn't wear the old version at all because they made me allergic and the new one burns my skin. But Dior Backstage is my favorite foundation and it doesn't do anything bad to my skin... that's very interesting. On the other hand, the SPF cream from Dior, despite the long and poor composition, works great for me. Interesting story ☺️
@@urszulaszpila I wish we could pinpoint the allergen so that you can avoid it everywhere else but it sounds like you’ve actually been able to realize what products cause it and avoid those. And a burn. That’s just terrible. How uncomfortable for you I am so sorry.
I used to wear Dior Star and Nude... oh, like 7, 8 years ago. Absolutely favorite foundations, but of course, they had to discontinue one of them and apparently re-released the nude but reformulated it

Hey Rebecca ❤ unpopular opinion bud I could not get the matte one to work for me😢I did see this a bit ago on Ulta’s website but held off remembering my experience with the matte one. I’m tempted lol thank you for all your hard work and detailed reviews!!🩷🩷
The only way I will use the matte version, Amy, is with a lot of Hollywood flawless filter underneath. Otherwise it is boring flat and not flattering. So I hear you. And of course adding in all of the dewy primer just defeats the purpose of it being matte but it’s the only way I can make it work.

Oh yes! I have it, got it from UK last year 😅 … thank you for sharing your thoughts! ❤
And I hear it’s been reformulated now too!?!
This came out like last year or the year before exclusively to the Dior website I picked it up at that time..I still really enjoy it but it’s great it’s more available now
And I now hear that it is reformulated?!
Just added to my Ulta cart!!!!
It's such a good one, Tracie!
Thanks for the review. I heard about this foundation last year but never checked for it 😂😂
And apparently this one is the reformulated version so it was good that you waited
Looks really nice. I was tempted by this one , except I don’t see it here in Canada 🇨🇦. 🤷♀️ Maybe eventually. Also have you heard that the backstage may be discontinued? Another utuber mentioned she thought it might. I hope not as it’s a favourite
Yes! I’ve heard those rumors too. I hope it’s not true. :(
We still get the Dior is it.. Neo Nude i think its called here in Australia I wonder if this is its replacement 😊 Thanks so much Rebecca, your a true gem❤
It’s so confusing, Kelly! And this is supposedly a reformulation. Only Dior knows what’s truly going on.
Now I’m even more undecided 😂😂😂
It’s impossible!!
Looks lovely 🎉🎉 Just to share a new find - superb cream bronzers from Inglot in three shades 😎😊
Oooo I need to try those!!
Hi Rebecca! I was curious about this foundation 2 years ago. I noticed it to be advertised as new on the Sephora App but I think it may be reformulated because it’s definitely not new.
EXACTLY! Mystery has been solved. It was indeed delayed here in the States but but but....it's been reformulated. Exactly.
I hear great things about Dior base/complexion products & yet, I have not tried any of them! 😬 Maybe it’s time that I did 😊💕
If you decide to, I think this one is the best formula of them all
Forget the foundation (looks also very nice on you)😊 but your eyes a so nice with this look 👌
Antoinnette, that is so kind of you. Thank you so much
I have noticed that Dior seems to turn yellow after awhile. I noticed it on the Dior reps at the store even. Have you noticed it?
Oh Kimberly! I haven’t noticed it AS much on this as I have even on some Too Faced and such. But yes. When I think of it, I do believe I know what you mean.
Hey Rebecca , thanks for this detailed review & the comparison with dior glow foundation .
Which one you prefer more Dior nude foundation or Givenchy prism libre foundation
Oh wow. That is a tough question. They are both so high up in my estimation. I think I would go with Givenchy but it’s really hard choice
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty thank you so much for replying 💕
Hi Rebecca, this foundation looks great on you. Would you say the Dior Glow you compared this one to had more coverage? I am going through your old videos for the Sephora sale. Just watched the Makeup Forever HD Powder video yesterday where you loved it so much , will put that on my list. Have a great day!
And I still love that MUFE powder!!! The Dior glow does have a bit more coverage, primarily because it’s a traditional foundation so it sits on top of the skin a little bit more. That is not an insult. Just the way the product works. 💕 that being said, I think I actually prefer this version.
Oooh it’s pretty! I have to avoid Dior complexion bec it makes my face burn.
Celeste! That makes you person number three who has said that Dior complexion products burn your skin. That’s a lot of people
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty really? That’s interesting! I had no idea.
@@celesteg881 There's a whole group of you out there!
I think I got this from Selfridges awhile back and ended up returning it but I can’t remember why I didn’t like it.
This one is the reformulated version I now learned. So maybe they “heard” you and others when you returned!
Strange that it's so late in the USA, really strange, but it's lovely stuff and loved the video as well!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
Annemarie! And this is supposedly a reformulation. I’m so confused by this one! But I know it’s lovely on the skin.
Tina!!! And this is the reformulated version so o have no idea which was being sold in Europe. It’s confusing even to me!
Hasn’t this foundation been available on Dior’s website for a while here in the U.S.? Like at least a year
Apparently this is the reformulation :)
Is there sunscreen in this one?
Nope ♥️
Wow this looks so fresh on your face! I need to try this now- do you order the same foundation as your Dior forever concealer shade? I have 2 of those (one for under eyes and one for face) not sure how the shade system works since I don't wear their foundation right now.
I order the same shade as the concealer shade that I use for the face, rather than the concealer shade to brighten under the eyes, if that makes sense. They are pretty straight across-the-board with their shades.
About to buy! Thanks
You'll be very pleased with this. It's a lovely little foundation!
And I now hear that this one is reformulated from the original in 2021. So that explains things.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I put on a small amount to see.....have you admit it looks nice....hmmm....will try again tomorrow for a full day wear!
@@cabrooker ooooo let me know!!!
PS. We still haven't got the new Collection, yet plenty of older items from last year!🇦🇺💖🕊
Kris! Just rescued this comment out of the spam folder. How DARE they put you in there!! I saved you. Yes, this is a reformulation.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I'm relegated to Spam now? At least that's one better than mistakenly taking my Channel completely down the year before last! Just as well Ive been behind with my replies. Dior has been reformulating a number of products lately. Probably an excuse to charge more!💖
Hey my lovely is this the reformulation of the natural nude foundation? As Ive tried this foundation last year or so
Yep! The reformulation :)
Omg…another foundation hard to pass🤦🏻♀️. It looks beautiful on your skin💜
Clara! How are people ever supposed to decide??? There’s too many options!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I’m not on instagram but this is very helpful! Thank you! 😊
@@kristystephens2842 in any way else that I can help, just let me know
I don't think this is a new foundation.
I hear not only was it just released here, it is supposedly also reformulated!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty maybe they reformulated it here too, then! I know there was never a big marketing campaign here, even when it launched before, so maybe it is a new formula here as well, they just didn't tell us! 😁
@@loytoco exactly!
How this foundation stands to heat and humidity?
Very good so far but the summer has yet to get really hot.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty than you! I’m really enjoying your videos!
@@CarmenPerez-pf3rf thank YOU for being here!
Just order this foundation from Ulta and OMG! The finish is absolutely stunning and it last! I use Hourglass veil primer underneath and Charlotte Tilbury setting spray and last me through a yoga class .
@@CarmenPerez-pf3rf I love this!!! So happy!!!
Another one for serum spreadsheet 😂
There’s no point in holding the round up video. There’s always another one right after it. Every single time. Ha ha.
I wonder if it’s been fixed?! This is, I now learn, the reformulation. Hmmmm!!??
Not a migraine from the videos . From the fragrance. 🫢😂
@@rosemartin4398 oh trust me, I hear ya! Anything could bring it on though. Probably videos too ha ha. But I knew what you meant 💕
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty 🤷🏻♀️😂😂😂true !!!
U know I have seen this on Ulta and idk why I was thinking it was the existing one. Lol. Who can keep up with the reformulations.
@@veronicamcminn7775 the 2.5 does go warm. Look at the final results. It’s not like the too-faced orange but I’m pretty warm looking there. It’s a little warm for me.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes it was a lot diff than the other formula 2.5. Idk. Eekkk I prob will go with 3n still since summer coming up
@@veronicamcminn7775 true.
Dior uses a lot of flower extracts in their products. I assume they use them in this, too. Maybe you are allergic to one of those flowers.
@@loytoco it can be like that.
I used to wear Dior Star and Nude... oh, like 7, 8 years ago. Absolutely favorite foundations, but of course, they had to discontinue one of them and apparently re-released the nude but reformulated it
They are reformulating things like crazy and it is so frustrating
@NotFitforPrintBeauty Right!!! I loved the "original" formula of Dior Forever... its soo not the same 😫
Dammit, it has coconut oil so I have to pass. I'm allergic. I wish companies would stop using this cheap Pore clogging ingredient. Looks beautiful!
That little coconut hides in so many things. It must be some sort of invaluable thickening ingredient. I need to ask one of our subscribers who is a makeup chemist or anyone who is a chemist.
I just pick this up….
I hope you love it too
This isn’t new it’s been out at least 2 years . I have had it it’s very nice .
Apparently reformulated. The mystery is solved!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I got mine from Selfridges to be clear
Hey Rebecca ❤ unpopular opinion bud I could not get the matte one to work for me😢I did see this a bit ago on Ulta’s website but held off remembering my experience with the matte one. I’m tempted lol thank you for all your hard work and detailed reviews!!🩷🩷
The only way I will use the matte version, Amy, is with a lot of Hollywood flawless filter underneath. Otherwise it is boring flat and not flattering. So I hear you. And of course adding in all of the dewy primer just defeats the purpose of it being matte but it’s the only way I can make it work.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty that’s a great idea! However, for us oily people that wouldn’t end well🤣🤦🏻♀️ that foundation was a bust for me, but this one looks interesting 🤔
