- Here we have the newly reformulated Dior Foundations-I got both the matte and glow formula. I want to note that I am on the dry side so the matte is not something I would normally wear but purchased to show those of you with oily skin or who like a matte finish. I enjoyed the glow foundation but found that both formulas needed a concealer for around the eye area and anywhere else that I needed a little more coverage. I also had to get one of the houndstooth limited edition lipsticks so I purchased the color Cherie (for obvious reasons). I hope you all enjoy and let me know what formula you liked better!

Of all the Dior foundations I like the Capture Totale the best for my very dry mature skin. Always get compliments on how flawless my skin looks when I wear it.

I've never tried Dior foundation & I have dry skin so it's hard for me to find one that works.. I think I'll try the glow (to help hide my fine lines etc).. it looks flawless on you! I also want to try that RMS primer as well* (& lovely lip shade too!) Thank you Cheri & Happy New Year as well!!

I agree with the majority. The glow side looks better. I would get the matt one for myself since I have oily combo skin.
I prefer a matte foundation and think that side looked flawless on camera. I loved the "Cherie" lip!! But I don't own any Dior. I'm getting the new Le Comete Chanel lip in 168 "purple star" cuz tho a matte, I love the shade and the case has a star on top!! So pretty 🌟☄

Happy 2022! The glow foundation really looks pretty. I have been using Suqqu The Cream foundation which I really like. The companies are definitely dropping the Spring collections early.

Loved this review. That lipstick looks beautiful on you. Have you ever tried the Dior Capture totale super potent serum foundation? If so what did you think and how does it compare to the Chanel Sublimage l'essence de teint foundation. I have not tried either of them but they are on my list. I have normal/dry skin and in my 40's. Thanks!
I have normal skin a bit oily aroun my nose and like a glow to my skin so i got the glow version. Like it but I don't love it. will give it a few more tries. XO

Great informative review! As a dry combo person I really appreciate your foundation reviews. I think I will skip these foundations and instead stick to the previous Dior foundation you held up at the end. Gotta say, I'm a sucker for this houndstooth collection, so pretty. I am very interested in 2 Dior shadows that dropped today, maybe you'll do a review on the quints #839 and #719. FYI, I never purchased Dior until I started watching your videos.

Do you happen to know if all the compact cases fit the different cushion refills? I have the future skin refill, can I use it inside the houndstooth case?
I think the “glowy” side looked beautiful, I might give it a try! Between the natural and the forever skin glow which one do you prefer Cheri? Which one of the two is more light on the skin? Also do you have any tips on how to prevent the transferring onto the mask as much as possible? The new Chanel and Dior releases are stunning I’m excited to see your reviews and getting at least that coral blush from Chanel which screams spring to me!

It’s such a shame I had high hopes for this new release Dior usually has a great shade range for olive skin tones and while I liked the natural nude I couldn’t find a perfect match but if these a not good it’s a definite pass. I’ll check out the serum foundation next even though I don’t think there’s a shade for me but we shall see ❤️

I prefer the glowy foundation. It looks more natural.
For clarification, only the Glow version is better for humidity? So bummed because we will be traveling to humid areas for vacation this year and I need something for that yet I have textured areas on my checks so dont need that highlighted. I need to mention I’m normal/oily.
Hi! Was there a reason why you went for 1.5N for the matte side and 2N for the dewy side?
The houndstooth range looks stunning; The glow foundation looks nice, but is so similar to the natural nude, I will pass on it.
The skin glow was my favorite foundation. After seeing your and Michelle Wangs video it seems the new formula has become matte. I’m so sad, I wish they wouldn’t change great formulas.
As you are applying it seems like it is too light on you. But as it sits on your skin the colour seems to get a bit darker.
Omg -have to say the “Cherie” lipstick looks fabulous on you! Question, would a serum foundation be better for dry skin? I’ve been thinking about the Dior Natural Nude for so long but now I also like “Glow”. Your thoughts?
I have dry skin and prefer the Natural Nude. I find it also gives a slightly better coverage. Don't know if this will help you.

Definitely the glow side. I don’t think this range is in Australian 🥲
I don't know about other countries but here in Spain we have the color 1C and 1CR. 1C being described as cool and CR cool rosy.
Can anyone explain the difference?. I am usually a cool tone and always assumed cool meant rosy🤷♀️

I tend to not wear foundation- it is too aging when you are over 50- (for me anyway) my skin is good and looks best with a bit of tinted moisturizer/spf, concealer, and a glowy base like the WA .. if you’ve taken good care of your skin, when you are older, you will appreciate that foundation isn’t typically your friend..no matter the claims… . *my experience anyway! 😂

Never put a fragranced foundation up so close around the eye like that! Could cause major irritation if you have sensitive eyes or even normal.
That’s what concealer is for! Foundation is for the face not eyes.
@@CHERIVOYAGE Good Morning ☀️ I, myself am a makeup artist for over 20 years. There are lots of color correctors that can be used under the eyes to cancel out any discoloration prior to going in with concealer. That’s what I use. Becca makes a good one, even Ulta brand. I also freelance and do weddings.
Brides have come back and told me how perfect there under eye make up stayed looking great all day and night with no creasing.
Never would I put a fragranced product up under the eyes. Maybe try a color corrector. Thats what they are for.
Foundation is for the face 😊
