Team Spirit has been undefeated since Riyadh Masters and is currently 10-0 at TI. They are currently in their best form and are winning games that seem like they should lose. Here's an analysis on what allows them to achieve this much success and how they managed to comeback against Shopify Rebellion in Game 1.

This is one of the best analysis I've heard. Since Larl joined TS alot of people where saying that he should be kicked, but now I have a better understading of the decisions he is making to create space and mantaining Yatoro in a safer position.

Collapse had one job, which js not to tank or initiate but to fuck up enemy’s carry game and he excels at it. On the othe hand, Larl enables Mira and Miposhka to play. Yatoro just doing his carry job from the spaces his team makes. Last but not least, Spirit comms are crazily good, like I can’t find team with better comms at this TI.
the same could be said with Tundra only if they had better carry than SKITTER!
How can you expect the tundra comms to be on same level with topson just joining the squad? And they fucking up big time.

Skitter farm super slow and always bad chrono. and its always TOPSON and 33 that are carrying the team not the actual carry Skitter. Nine even did more then this Skitter! Tundra winning a Ti11 was a fluke,why they kick Saksa and recruit Topson mid? because they know Topson is better mid than Nine, and Nine better pos 4 than Saksa. Thats why they took Topson in.
Their support is very good at giving much space for yatoro
And Yatoro is so good in capitalizing.

In pub especially in legend rank, if u die u gonna get blame and ur core insteed of farming they gonna join the fight even when u said just farm

Another good point is that the Skywrath Mage pick gave them a lot of kill potential when Shopify could snowball the game. Makes it harder for them to just jump on Team Spirit, being afraid of being punished. Also, the Skywrath gave them enough damage to fight against Heart of Tarrasque beefy heroes, since in this meta there are a lot of heroes who powerspike around the 25 minutes with a lot of tanky items, which makes almost impossible to bring them down, but Sky made it possible since his burst damage is huge. Combine it with stacking camps for Yatoro and the selfless gameplay of Larl, understanding of the meta with the new map, bringing more carry potential to the offlane due to more camps to farm, and the midlane with less camps being the "rythm maker" of the game, the one who has to create plays being it defensive or offensive (which was the offlaner role before), bring it all together to a beautiful macro throughout the map for TS.
Good video. Have to say tho, with Terrorblade standing on top of his own illusion all Collaps have to do is charge the illusion and he'll get exactly the same result in the last fight even if Terrorblade went linkens over silveredge unless illusion procking linkens work with charge as it did with old morph aghs. But don't think it does.

Make more videos like this bro. Love these deep dive videos of what the top players in the world are thinking from drafting heroes to end game. Maybe go back to the ti games and put the camera focusing on 1 player for deep analysis to see how he plays. Each team spirit member gets their own video.

Though I disagree that RTZ should've bought Linkens. It's easy to say that IN RETROSPECT because he got charged but having Linkenks over SE means having 0 damage. Besides, Larl got cheese off before Collapse landed his ult on Dawn anyway.
I think maybe BKB instead of Skadi would've been better.

Yatoro is slowly evolve to Ame because of the heroes pool. At TI10, team spirit even admire Ame that he's good with every heroes. You can see that in true sight. They also play similar style, aggressive and kiting for teammates.

As much as many says larl is bad, i say his playstyle as pos2 is very good for Spirit.
As many mid players like kiyotaka and abed like flashy plays, larl is disciplined and consistent in his plays. Flashy players tend to overextend in fights and as a result they make more mistakes, but Spirit keeps their team tight and move like a ball and disciplined mid players like larl is the glue for the whole strategy. Playmaking is collapse, then clean-up is yatoro. Miposhka's draft and mira's map rotation make the team complete.
Thats what alot of pos 2 players dont understand about dota its not about the midlaner getting super farmed and solo carrying the game pos 2 is more of a space making role nowadays

team spirit so very good at engaging fights and disengaging clash if they know they are at disadvantage
mid or offlane player have to make space for carry, in immortal bracket. who know how to play pos 1 , he will manage in late game. since its a team gameplay..thats how u make space..u pressure the lane, make their core come to u..if manage to kill enemy its a bonus, at least u die with something ( exp , gold )
Arteezy throw analysis please
Although Linken‘s can be very annoying for SB, in that fight where Kunkka got focused, Collapse could have just as well charged the illusion just next to TB for the same effect.
The way arteezy has postioned his illusions in that scenario is because he doesn't have a linken. But if he has a linken and he doesn't position his illusions such that he can't get charged through them, then he's just bad at micro/tb. I've thought about that beforehand and I doubt a pro would let that happen if they're actively thinking about. They have a lot of damage with dawnbreaker deso, the problem is spirit breaker isn't going to let arteezy attack at all so him buying damage doesn't do anything

@@PainDota what about positioning illusions if he got revealed, used all buttons because they must have full damage call, and instantly got charged, even with haste on every illusion he wouldnt have enough time to get any positioning anyway. He couldve gotten it if he preused illusions, but I think it would've given information about smoke for TS, so that's why he kept his buttons.

What about tb illusion shooting spirit breaker 3 or 4 times before kunkka cheese?
What about cr1t on tusk using walrus punch into snowball into releasing snowball not charging it at all, which ruins their control chain => lets Larl use his BKB and reduce damage => survive until cheese

Collapse is the best Pos 3 player in the world, the GOAT of offlaner.. he got so many variations of heroes, he rarely lose his lane, he always fucked up the enemy's carry, he really know how and when to engage/initiate.. his decision making are out of this world, and i could says that the time TI10 won by team spirit was solely carried by Collapse, even though yatoro got so many rampages, but every Tier 1 carry could done the same if being babysit and have a offlaner just like Collapse.
There is another point about TB no bkb .
Sb charge is only the small problem .
Big problem is Kk scepter .
No bkb agaisnt Kk Scepter mean you cant hit .
Well Tb really lucky this game , not getting torrent 3 times b2b .
But in a normal game that is f up hard .
Just like running into sanking scepter W with no bkb .
16:40 linken has 0 practical use in such scenario against spirit breaker because collapse can just charge the illusion next to tb and stun arteezy anyway. And if he would buy linken instead of silverage it means he would have manta bkb skadi linken item build with 0 damage and shopify would have literally no chance of winning a fight because of lack of damage

@@PainDota Apologies for asking but as someone that doesn't play TB often, doesn't he have some dps issues if he has both defensive items BKB and linkens? I wholeheartedly agree with you that RTZ should have bought an early BKB but buying Linkens on top of that just to deal with SB is a bit much.
@@imfinishedgrinding638 TB does decent damage without buying any damage items befcause of meta and his illusions. He also has tusk and negative armor with dawnbreaker's deso.
Early bkb would've helped closed the game out before he needs to buy a linkens IMO, but the point where they started losing, he needs both

What do you mean by TI qualifiers? Team Spirit had enough DPC points to get a direct invite to the international so they didn’t have to play a last chance qualifier. I’m confused what you mean

To everyone who is saying that Linken wouldn't change anything as Collapse would just charge TB' Illusions and still get him.
Arteezy is a 12K MMR Pro Player, If he buys a linken for spirit breaker, he can micro his illusions in a way to not get charged. If he can't micro illusions in a way that he can't get charged through them then he's just bad. I hope that answers it because everyone's asking the same thing without reading other comments that are asking the same thing.

Could it also be that Shopify always spends too much resource on a single kill? They were so far ahead, yet they always 5 man gank 1 hero. If Spirit is only playing 1/4 of the map, there is no way Shopify won't out farm them if they play slow and less forceful. I think they should either go bkb and pressure the last 1/4 of the map like you said, or just take the 3/4 and easy win

Shopify was a good team and they were in a good wave but after been beaten by team spirit so many times they seens to get they own spirit killed totally, the SR team in the TI looks nothing like the one that played the dpc
But hear me out.... What if, just what if SR lastpicks OD instead for Abed, flexes Dawn to 1, tusk to 3, ES 4, phoenix 5 and uses the massive advantage of OD over troll/kunkka/sb, hell, even ench to an extent. Sanity shits on them, banish makes troll ult stalled, save from boat/x, even from a fking charge. Somnus showed who's boss with OD so I don't consider the hero awful, just the fking bulba drafts go in such a predictable way it hurts even though I cheer against mr babyrage
Unfortunately OD is very bad in this draft, there is sky’s silence, you can’t even hit enchantress because of untouchable, if you astral spirit breaker, it just gives him extra time to reset his 1st skill, you have buy very early BKB on OD to dodge torrent/X from kunkka and that means you cannot astral during BKB which makes you instantly dead by SB’s charge. It is best counter to troll but I just buy orchid/bloodthorn to counter you whole game

They should have played around RTZ more.. Also RTZ is always too busy to farm rather than engage or do an objective..

I mean yea they have a good record but they also haven't faced any good teams yet. Everyone they have faced are expected to lose immediately in playoffs/main stage. Best team they have faced so far is EG and even they are not looking anywhere close to the other top teams in groups. I personally think people are sleeping on LGD and Azure Ray just because Chinese dota hasn't looked great in the past year.
