Thank you! I got a new computer and have started back playing Sims. I’ve been a bit intimidated relearning everything as far as mods and what not. This was the perfect tutorial and my game runs perfectly!
hello love! the perfect timing, i just reinstalled my computer the other day and hav'nt gotten reshade to work like before. when I press F8 to get that pretty blurry backgroundeffect in the background I get the front (everything closest to the screen) blurry and the back is sharp. I don't know what to do to fix it. I always take pics with your preset and now I can't D: I use reshade 4.9.1, and I've even tried as a last resort 2.0.3, 5.2.2 and 6.3.3 they all do the same :C
Helloo! Make sure that edge smoothing is off in the game settings and that you’re playing in windowed mode, and when you click on “edit global preprocessor definitions” make sure that the first one is 1000.0 and the 3 below that are on 0 💜 (I just saw you joined the discord so I tagged you in a picture!)
I think it is possible but I don’t know if it’s a good idea, because reshade will make the game heavier/effect performance, so it depends on if your pc can handle that

Is there any way to enlarge the UI size? I gave up playing Sims 3 because the UI is too small in high resolution
I don’t think there’s a way to change the size of the UI!
if u look up "sims 3 tiny ui fix" theres a tool you can use to enlarge it!
I wanted to know if you needed a graphics card to do the reshade/gshade?
I think it is possible but I don’t know if it’s a good idea, because reshade will make the game heavier/effect performance, so it depends on if your pc can handle that
