I organize by creator and by category! If I have a lot of cc by a certain creator then I will create a folder for just that creator (for example: RolloRolls, Pandelabs, SpectacledChic etc) And the other folders are categories like eyebrows, makeup, clothing etc

Hi! Sims 3 doesn’t have something like that I believe, but if you import something you already have in cc magic it will automatically delete it, so if you use cc magic you will never have duplicated cc!
I started moving my packages to downloads, and organizing through CC magic- stating with hairs, which show up in game- next I tried with clothing, rebuilding and making sure it’s enabled, but the clothes are missing in game😭

bro this looks so easy but CC Magic WILL NOT WORK FOR ME :( 😭 when i open it, it closes automatically. any forum i look at for this issue asks, “did you install the 3 needed files listed on the CC Magic modthesims page?” but those files, once clicked, are NOT AVAILABLE 😭😭😭 so i installed other versions of those files by searching for them, and they are the same ones needed (as far as i know) but ALAS, CC Magic does not stay open. no error message, just simply opens and then closes immediately. 😭😭😭😭😭
I'm sorry but I'm not sure why that is happening! I always recommend starting with a fresh install of the game when you want to start using cc magic, because then you can't have any issues!

I don’t know how it works with store content, I recommend downloading store content from blamseastore on tumblr because everything is already in package files! And you can put those package files in cc magic 💜

This may be a dumb question, but are the package files from the Mods folder already merged? How do I know I know that? All I see is the entire legacy folder enabled. Please!
No they’re not merged! Everything under legacy in cc magic is just all the stuff that’s in your actual mods folder, you don’t have to do anything with that!

i am currently doing that, having my store content and my worlds installed on my launcher and it works, but i would like to convert everything into package files and put it in cc magic, i just don't know if i can do that as it is already installed and in use in my saves. @Floryda do you know if i can do that ? thank you in advance and no worries if you don't know ☺️💕
@@anaisplante I’ve done that before!! One of my saves world I was playing was installed in my launcher but I wanted it in package file , so I just moved out all my saves onto my desktop, (so they don’t delete) and converted the worlds into package files (but I put them in my mods folder not cc magic) and they were working when I put my saves back into the saves folder and played it as normal :)
Question: does this method also allows modscripts (like NRaas) to work in game or is it purely cosmetic/building? Thanks for your time and the really helpful tutorial!

@@Florydaa It doesn’t appear… It might be because the folder of Cc Magic is in a different language than the original version?, I mean, my game (and the folder of the game) is in spanish, but the folder of cc magic says “The sims 3” and its in English, it might be because of that?

Hmm I’m not sure if there is anything like that, I think you can only make collection folders in the game!

Are you playing on a language other than English ? It might the problem.

Yes you can also add skins! Some items show up as unknown but that doesn’t matter

Yes I definitely think cc magic is better, the game is a lot smoother and it’s easier to use. I really don’t like s3pe

I personally don’t recommend it! I recommend converting everything to package files

Wait no not the mods folder!! You have to put the worlds into where you have your sims 3 installed !!!
Wisteria has a bunch of cc world overviews and shows you how to put package worlds into your game !! :)

The stuff you see under Legacy is stuff that’s in your actual mods folder, you don’t have to do anything with that!
