Both ronnies were in "four candles" - it's just that that one was eariler in the series which lasted for several years. The "blackberry" sketch was after Ronnie Barker had died, and was with Ronnie Corbett and Harry Enfield, another comedian.
The two Ronnie's were fantastic. Both had success when they worked alone also. Ronnie Barker especially....you should watch PORRIDGE and OPEN ALL HOURS. Sadly Ronnie and Ronnie have both passed away but their work will make people laugh for years and years to come .!!
Porridge is definitely one to watch. Ronnie Barker is with Richard Beckinsale (his Kate daughter is in Underworld). Another Brit sitcom I’d recommend is On The Buses
My favourite Morecambe & Wise sketch is the "Morny Stannit" sketch. Eric is selling a paper, shouting "MORNY STANNIT" and Ernie corrects his speech saying "Morning Standard" the rest I will leave for you to find. You won't find it on RUclips.
The my Blackberry is not working sketch was done as a tribute to Ronnie Barker after he died. The shopkeeper in that sketch was Harry Enfield and Ronnie Corbett as in this sketch played the customer.

Hi you two. You queried Ronny Barker’s changing looks. Remember that he eventually died from cancer, and as it progressed he did sadly change in his appearance. He never changed in his attitudes though or in his ability to make us laugh! A much loved and missed chap.
Morecambe and Wise with Andre Previn sketch. Brilliant and gave birth to the classic catch phrase “I’m playing all the right notes, not necessarily in the right order “!!!
Ronnie Barker is probably the best comedian this country has ever produced, forever funny in any and every role he played and a damn good actor too. You should absolutely watch some Porridge scenes and some Open All Hours too!
Morecambe and Wise sketches - Antony & Cleopatra, Singin' In The Rain, "The Stripper" Breakfast sketch, Shirley Bassey, and my favourite , Greig's Piano Concert with André Previn. Anything by Victoria Wood especially her songs, An Audience with Victoria Wood, and of course, Two Soups sketch with Julie Walters.
I don't remember glass jars but the plastic jars and I absolutely loved getting 2 black jacks, mojos, or fruit and custard chewy sweets for ha'penny for 2. (0.5 pence in NEW 1971+ money). Old money meant you could get 960 of them for a quid, and post decimalisation we got 400 for a quid. Not that we ever saw a pound note as kids anyway. Otherwise we paid for sweets by weight and the shop girls would scoop them all and drop them on a scale so we got to pay per 1/4. I do miss the good old days.
Steve, The Blackberry sketch is one Ronnie, Ronnie Corbett and comedian Harry Enfield as the shopkeeper. Ronnie Barker in the original sketches sadly passed away in 2005.
Ronny Barker was in the four candle sketch, as he actually wrote it. He was the customer that bought the four handle etc. He wrote most of the material in the whole series of programmes, & so starred in all of them until his death. He was also in the prison comedy 'Porridge', with Kate Beckinsale's dad. Another show he starred in was 'Open all Hours' as a corner shop keeper.
The four candles one both Ronnie's were in that, Ronnie Corbett is the short one and Ronnie Barker is the tall one remembering that should help. The fave two Ronnie's one I love is when they're dressed as women singing in a choir it's hilarious. Both are legends for sure. 😊👌🏻
I remember buying 2 or 4 ounces of loose sweets when I was a kid. By the 1980s the glass sweet jars were being replaced by plastic versions. "Hundreds & Thousands" were popular, as you could make them last for ages. By eating them from the bag using a wet finger. Most small "newsagent" stores had shelves of sweet jars behind the counter, and penny sweets in trays under a glass counter. "Newsagents" stores main business was selling newspapers & magazines. cigarettes and sweets.
Hi Steve and Lindsay you really have to check out Ronnie Barker in "Porridge" and "Open all hours" both Situation Comedies that were penned by Mr Barker himself this sketch was actually the inspiration for "Open all hours" Both Ronnie's did the four candles sketch. Ronnie Barker was the customer in the four candles sketch

From that one sketch, it spawned a whole character called the Rev I. M. Jolly, which us Scots would see on our screens around the time of the New Year (Hogmanay). Rikki Fulton was a sketch comedian who we looked forward to seeing every year, cos he was hillarious, and he's worth checking out. It might be one to keep till around the New Year.
I recommend 'Open All Hours'. Has both ronnies in it and is situated in a typical old northern corner shop. It has a miser shopkeep, a till that eats you and a whole passle of northern caricatures. My dad was from up north of England, and he said it was a perfect comedic replica of the era.
The Train Driver's sketch where the two Ronnies use (almost) every tube station name, to talk to each other. "He is an Epping nuisance" "He was going out with the Theydon Bois. Big lads, yep Wapping." Only watch with a tube map in front of you. "My old lady is a bit of an Aldwych" (old witch).
