Thank you for watching. It was raw and honest. I have 5 things we loved coming this coming weekend too. There are so many great family cruise options. There is a cruise line for everyone.
Disney prices are crazy! Most expensive popcorn at sea! That tea better have gold in it! Yeah, hard to get a good view sometimes, and lines can get crazy. Muster needs to be updated on Disney. Surprised about the food. You missed the most important one (for us) NO CASINO! LOL. Great video!
Thanks for watching guys! Yeah the prices are nuts! As you saw, muster made me mad. lol. It was not a fun experience with young antsy kids, that’s for sure. Yeah, food was disappointing but as I said, that’s was just my personal experience. Oh yeah, I forgot about the casino because we never go there. lol.
So sorry your Disney Cruise was disappointing. My daughter also was very disappointed with the Edge Club, but loved going to the Open Houses for the Oceaneer Club/Labs. They also will occasionally offer activities where the Edge Club will combine with the Oceaneer Club/Lab (not during the Open Houses) that are listed in the app. Thankfully we had a great time with doing other things onboard, that not being able to spend a ton of time at the kids club was a non-issue. Looking forward to seeing what you liked about your Disney cruise.
Thank you for watching. The things we were disappointed with could be fixed for the most part. Maybe now they have changed the age for the Edge they need to change the activities? Ours was only 4 days so we had plenty of fun together as a family too and then mummy and daddy enjoyed a cruise without kids a few weeks later. Haha. Plenty to love from our experience, I’ll be posting this coming week.
When we checked out the Edge Club, we pretty much just saw screens for viewing movies/playing games and a foosball table, which did not impress my 11 year old and she had no desire to spend any time there. She loved the Pixie Hollow art table, dance floor “race” game, and the Millennium Falcon pilot simulator in the Oceaneer Club (on the Dream). However, she was only allowed to go into during the Open Houses, so we made 2 separate visits there for her. So yes, if Edge would add just a couple of the Oceaneer Club elements-I believe it would solve some issues of disappointment?
So it sounds like your experience was similar to hours. I think because it was originally designed for 13-14 year olds they thought they were too old for that stuff but 11 year olds are still little kids and want to play as well. I hope they add some more exciting stuff for the younger kids in that age bracket.
It wasn’t all bad. I also have a ‘things I loved about Disney’ video. Since they at least come to Melbourne I’m not ruling it out if I can get a decent price but for what I got on 4 days for what I paid we are better off flying to Sydney or Brisbane for a longer, better value cruise.
I think it is fair to compare the two. I understand Disney is considered premium and Carnival budget but I found the food to be at a similar standard and I prefer the way Carnival operates the muster. The thing that Disney has is standard of entertainment and an extremely well maintained ship. I personally didn’t find the value in it compared to Carnival but as I said, that is just my opinion based off my experience and I encourage others to form their own opinions with their experiences.
Love your honest opinions!
Thanks for watching. Good tips for when you go…
A great video. Will take this into account if we look to book with Disney. 👏👏
Thanks for watching. Disney was a great and magical experience but they do have their flaws. Good to look at both perspectives.
Shout-out to the woman who gave her booking to you! As a parent, getting those magical moments for your kids can be so lovely.
Thank you for watching.
I know! It was so lovely of her and thanks to her another child got the experience too. I’m very grateful.
Great review, you have me considering our options now. Looking forward to the next one!

Totally agree, had an amazing time, beautiful ship, wonderful experience with the kids, but I needed a holiday after this 😴

Love your honesty.
Thank you. I appreciate you watching. There are always things we do and don’t like about ships… it’s good to show both the good & bad.
Thank You for sharing this video~
You’re welcome. It’s good to show both sides of things. Thank you for watching.
I am going on Carnival Luminosa for my first ever Carnival cruise in October
We enjoyed Carnival Luminosa but I prefer Splendor with the kids because it has more water activities for them. I do love a good carnival cruise. 🥰
How beautiful is your son's hair 😍
Thank you. It is absolutely gorgeous but hard work. He’s a beautiful boy. 🥰
So I gather you won't book a Disney cruise again but stick to your carnival cruise where you have more fun

@CruiseCrazedFam i agree especially with cost of living and you paying for four people
You can’t compare Carnival to Disney two different cruise completely different experiences. As for cost what are paying for compared to Disney…?
