Brandon, your explanations are on point. not just a detailed instruction, but you mention the "intricate details" that most don't think to talk about or just assume that we know. well done.

Great details - you blend scenarios into the explanation well, which I think a lot of instructors fail to implement.
    Top stuff!

Best mount armbar instructional out there, I think. Went on a deep-dive trying to find the best one to share with my white belt friends, and this seems to be the one. Thanks Brandon!

That’s a great compliment! Don’t skip fundamentals class! They get the W in the end

this is excellent. i learned from Firas to also tuck the chin before you sit back as an option. and in class i was reminded to put one knee up more than the other to make space for the arm grab before the whole sequence starts

This video is awesome! I so have trouble attaching the armbar from the mount like this and have felt similar pressure from the higher belts, but no one was able to break it down for me the way you just did. Excellent video. I'm going to practice this move every day until it's 2nd nature. Thank you for posting, Brandon.

Thanks for the detailed instruction. I always get stuck in mount wondering exactly where to start for my arm bar.

New sub here. As a white belt I have seen video after video for arm bars and found them lacking. This video and teaching is as efficient and smooth as your technique. Thank you

Awesome, I've been trying to pull off the armbar from S mount and everyone keeps escaping. You just added the pieces to the puzzle I was missing. Thanks so much for posting. really great instruction here.

Hi thanks an you pls show how to do when his strong, and he always connect his two hands and when you want to separate their hands by putting my knee inside or by pulling hard is quite impossible to disconnect the hands. Can you show us how to do when you have a person who always connect his hands and it’s very hard to prevent him from doing this. Thank you.

Hi Brandon. Thanks for the video and good explanation. I've been in the postion a couple of times and lost it due to a bridge at 3.53 of your video. What prevents him from bridging into you and either rolling either over your right leg if it isn't moved quick enough, or shrimping out if you have to rebase?

I like that paintbrush attack alot and use it often. But that straight armbar is not something I've seen before. I tried it a few times while rolling but haven't been able to get a tap from it. Could you provide more details or do a video on it.
