I’ve used Procreate since it came out and I watch these tips and tricks videos anytime I see them, so it’s rare that I wind up learning something new. You achieved it, though! When you dragged the image into the palettes window and it created a color palette from it… WOW

I cannot draw on the layer when I select alpha lock. 😩 But I am loving your clear instructions.
Alpha lock only allows u to draw on top of what u have already drawn. It isolates only what you have drawn.

The color selection by holding down the square did not work for me. I have a iPad 2015, does that make a difference? But if I hold my finger down over the item, it selects the color for me.
Hmm that’s weird. It wouldn’t be your iPad, it would be procreate. But there are 2 ways to colour pick, the way I showed you and the way you mentioned. However your way can only be done by the finger and not the pen.
Can this app be downloaded on the Xiaomi iPad 5 ?
Xiaomi is an Android device. Procreate is for iOS devices only.

Can you reference an image from your Procreate gallery?
What do u mean by this?
@@drawwithmarina Hi Marina. When I turn on the reference option and select image, the only place I can source an image is through Photos App. No option to select from the Procreate gallery or files folder.
@@nopriors You won't be able to reference your gallery, you would have to export that image into your camera roll and reference from there :)
