some suggestions on your open for a kjf...its good to use soviet and uk in round 1 and 2 to push japan land forces back and take away japan income....eg put 2 russian inf + 1 fighter in sinkiang, 5 inf in buryatia, and maybe a tank in Szechuan (the tank can usually blitz through kwantung+kiansu for extra 4ipc income for russia!). also building 3 tanks or 3 fighters in India and moving all infantry and the aa gun to Burma in r1...really easy for uk to counter the typical 5-6 yunnan stack that japan sends on r1....very useful to attack sea zone 37 with sub,carrier,2 fighters and 2 cruisers, taking carrier as first casualty has 95% win chance....means the US fleet starts at an advantage and you tend to avoid the stand off as us can out produce japan....you only need to be aggressive on r1 and r2 with uk and russia, then move back to mostly focusing on defending moscow...also the goal is for US to have all 3 islands with complexes on them...once you do this, you can win even if moscow falls, as us income is usually close to 60 ipc when they have 3 money islands...usually not advisable to build Atlantic fleet on uk turn 1...put most of the ipc into india to put japan on defensive
If you want to go Meme-Status maybe the "Green-Skies" Strategy is something for you. This was outlined by The Good Captians Channel and used by Manix in one video. It's basically mass producing bombers as US and make Germany struggle for their ICs having to repair them all the time xD The other side would be "Sea-Lion" I think as Germany going for London Turn 2.
When you're doing KJF, you need to move that US fleet around every turn as you build it up, rather than a static stand-still, to be constantly threating to land troops on Japan, Manchuria, or a money Island. That forces Japan to commit resources to defending both their fleet and the land, ideally pulling some fighters away from the fleet.
i love the game but think the 24hour rule destroys it, there should be ranked with 30minutes per turn. If you do your turn and have to wait 24 hour it sucks. If i want to play 5hours of a and a, i want to play with hourse of a and a. And not sit in front of the screen waiting for the opponent to make a turn. I had one game in 100hours where it would go back and forth in 20min spans and it was fun as hell
this was also not a KJF lol, but yeah I agree, sometimes frustrating, especially when things get forgotten too. Seems really quick to click away like it is a RTS game
