Your comment.. "that is so bad, that's ugly" was hilarious, me all day long.. LOL Good patient play, you got gifted a game where you had no business winning.. Cheers!
What a brutal G1 and japanese dice. You were getting crushed by the dice. Russia threw with his 4 lone fighters and the troops in Asia like round 4 i think. Huge advantage they messed up. Gg!
One I think you have done wrong a few times is your math, the original sub attack against the British Destroyer is not 50/50 like you stated (at least not in terms of killing the DD and the transport) since some amount of the time both units hit. Sames goes for your attack of Bmb vs 1 American destroyer and two transports, sure the destroyer only hits 33% of the time, but your bomber only hits 2/3 of the time, so it brings it closer to 50/50 that you get the DD and the transports.
man that sz47 battle for japan round 8 was brutal... wonder if you woulda had better results if you chose to sacrifice your destroyers over your submarines as they would've had their surprise strike for the next turn of combat. in any case, the dice gods hated you.
Wow, nice comeback after such a brutal start. After that lost fleet you deserved the win in France 😃! A lot of stuff I'd done pretty similar, like the IC in Manchuria and going hard for Russia. Only even heavier on artillery less infantry. I think you didn't over invest in tanks, I'd probably buy too few of them. Maybe one or two more bombers for both Japan and Germany over the game, but would they have been worth it? For Japan I would prefer more airpower over fleet so if needed prefer carriers supported by fighters (and bombers on offense), with destroyers and battleships to tank hits so hardly any subs and never cruisers. No subs might have been disastrous as your subs came in pretty handy a few times. Interesting to see that once US has fleet advantage, you can't put a little fleet in or it will be blasted doing little return fire. Could you build fighters and save IPC's to drop carriers much later, or would the US just outproduce you? Could you stack Japan and Manchuria with enough infantry, fighters (and 2 AA) to hold off without any fleet?
That was a weird game?!? What were the Allies doing?!? With your crappy dice, USSR really nice opening, extremely horrible Japanese fleet attack on UK fleet, you certainly shouldn't have taken this game, kudos to your patient gameplay taking those RNG hits and coming back round after round :) Looking forward to next game, hopeful for a better opponent but also fair RNG for you ;)
Second video I’ve watched of yours, thanks for introducing me to there being a RUclips community making axis and allies videos.

True. I was only factoring the units to win, not the odds of killing the enemy unit and the transports

Lol I've had games where the dice were killing me and then games where I was getting really lucky
That was a bad Allies player, no aggression at all.

I think we can safely count this in the allies threw this game lol.
you always have such a bad luck with japanese fleet
Sometimes it's tough in a KJF to keep your Japanese fleet. I did have some shitty dice though 🙃
