Probably sounded pretty good if you were there, he's more or less hitting the notes but he has to make some horrible-sounding mouth shapes and breathing decisions to get there, so it sounds bad under the microscope on a direct mix. There's videos from 2003 where he sounds worse.

@@jondoe1916 Iron maiden for starters? idk about 100s of bands, but there definitely are bands that sound good at 60, and there are a bunch of singers that sound a whole lot better than this at 40+, milles kennedy, James hetfield, chris cornell, serj tankian, corey taylor etc. If the other guy is right, and they were 35-38 here, I can even mention singers in that age that, very arguably, are on their prime, spencer sotelo, for instance is 36, einar solberg, 37, and so on.
Kevin Perez no way deftones was awesome live I seen them twice!! Never seen mars volta but seen lots of vids on here and both bands made my top 5 love them live and the studio!! U need to watch roulette dares live from yahoo,it's long and so powerful!! The drumming,guitars and singing were all on point!!
