I've just discovered a funny bug in NFS Carbon. Use nfs vltEd to set the top engine power of the mustang shelby (old) to around 700+ at all levels. Then start the game and go to challenge series, the second last challenge: Shelby GT500, Bronze, crash 25 cops. What happens is that the stunt camera is activated before you're allowed to control the car. When the stunt camera ends, the KI still has full control over the car and will continue to drive a circuit race forever until you get busted or somehow make the challenge. Enjoy :)

@@kt249 The normal career mode Le Mans is 12 minutes. There's a single race option where you can make it 12 or 24 hours.

I have played GRID 2 and GRID 2019, and still...... this is the best out of the lot! I think it's because of the sponsors and how intense the crashes are. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how it has LeMans in there. I was too scared to try it during my first play-through back in like early 2009 as I thought it was legit 24hrs like GT5 lol. I was relieved to see the count-down was set at 24 minutes. I still play this game on PS3 hahaha.

2008 was a beautiful year...
Grid 1 was just so much better than 2 and Autosport to me. Also, it has an arcade version! It's just the regular game where you do three races that get progressively harder, but it's really cool to see it in arcades.

I've heard so many people complain about drifting in this game but it was my favourite drifting out of every other racing game. It felt so damn nice.
Drifting has a binary difficulty curve. Either you suck at chaining or you don't and dominate the NPCs :D
Grid was one of those rare games that did what it wanted very, very well BUT still didn't take itself entirely too fucking seriously like many modern games. The repulsor field is a prime example of just genius fun thrown in for shits and giggles and I appreciate that.

This was probably the best arcade racing game i've played in the last 2 gens. GRID 2019 got nothing close to this.
I remember going from Pro Street form PS2 to GRID on ps3 and being blown away by the graphics, holy crap it still holds up pretty well with some HD patches on PC.

0:55 I completely agree with this, when I first played it I was put off because I thought it was just "do this challenge for some cash" but it felt like so much more, being able to chose your sponsors and gain fans was really satisfying. I also loved having a teammate that could help carry you when you fail or you help carry them, felt like I was actually a part of something instead of just the same old you vs 6/8/12/24 other racers, like it was you vs the world. Now you have a partner in crime :D

At least in the first Grid, you can tussle with AI cars, try doing that in Grid 2 or Autosport... fekin brick walls and my car is like a feather :(

What other game the AI is crashing except maybe Dirt 2?? all other games AI is like train on track the will you run you over push you away and you cant move them. In GRID one AI was killing us and then at the last lap he spun out this game had amazing moments
