Im really lovin Get to the Hook! I usually always watch the new episodes of the TMZ and TMZ verified podcasts the day they drop! I love them. Since this podcast is so different than other current tmz podcasts I really wasnt sure I'd be into it. Especially since I'm not a music buff or heavily invested one way or another. But this podcast is so damn interesting. I love hearing all stories, drama, and/or scandals behind a song or album that i never knew, or maybe didn't know much about! This is definitely my favorite non-news specific podcast. I really like how topics are picked and relative to current events. I especially love it's a discussion and a longer listen. Also I think the hosts are great! Obvs both are professionals and have years of experience speaking and articulating thoughts to an audience. Plus their personality combo is great! And a bonus that their voices are very easy to listen to.

You guys rock for sure! You got it easy with Green Day's 'Good Riddance' for you graduation (guess you're not a 'Seinfeld' fan either eh?). I got R Kelly's 'I Believe I can Fly!' And by the way it was on the soundtrack for the first 'Space Jam' so there was that correlation with what was relevant at that time. Lol

Having a hit must be nice, but a song that's instantly and broadly popular is hardly the meter of quality. The song could be insipid in a month or still shine brightly a century later. I wish a hit for Hozier now and then because hits reach people and someone out there who likes Too Sweet may decide to take a longer listen to his larger body of art, which is, to a song, moving, poetic, soulful, and thought-provoking.
