Two weeks ago, I did not know what a gimbal was. On RUclips, a hiking vloger was asked what kind of gimbal she used. I had no idea what they were talking about so I asked Google. I bought a DJI OM4 on Amazon Prime Day so now I am binge watching your videos to learn how to shoot videos. Next week, I turn 81 years old on June 30.

Well, I'm nothing short of blown away. To be honest after ten minutes or so I was beginning to lose track of where all this B-roll stuff was heading as it all appeared disjointed and nothing short of chaotic. I mean, who in their right mind swings backwards and forwards along a wooden fence for one thing. However, with some clever stitching together of the clips to create the final creation my lips were found to be forming the word-------WOW. One thing's for sure - I shall be looking at my two Smartphones - Android + iPhone + OM4 in a completely different light from now on. Have I subscribed to your channel? You bet I have! Great stuff.

You will enjoy it… the magnet is super strong but don’t use big phone case. The clamp is not too deep. My phone fell off 2x

Awesome tutorial zen. It's refreshing as always to see how mutch we can use our phones to make decent content. We might list after the latest mirrorless camera but the phone we have is so under used. Your videos always encourage people get out and play. Just be a kid again. I like that. Even if your video doesn't look that polished you'll have learned a lot and most of all experienced more. Everyone grows by learning and trying. You get people off the couch and into the park. That's an achievement much overlooked but vital to our sanity in these times. I use the OM4 with Samsung S20. I only thought of using it for shooting drone flying videos but it got me into cinematic shooting on smartphone!

This is why I believe a phone and a gimbal is the best for mobile filmmaker and not any camera. Any camera, even the simplest one is much heavier and you still need to buy a gimbal, probably a bigger gimbal than an OM4 if you want those creative shots which are so much easier with just a phone and a headache with something like a Sony a6400 and a Ronin or crane or whatever

Thanks so much for sharing your photo/videography knowledge. It’s very nice that I ended up watching a couple of your videos as I’m still in the learning process of using a gimbal and so forth (DJI OM 5).
The one thing I might have to struggle a bit would be moving around, because I use crutches to move around (yes, I am a person with disability) but I will figure out a way to do away with the impediment to whatever possible extent. Thanks once again for creating these wonderful tutorials!

Also, I know you're not in the U.S. because of the Gravol comment and the fact that the benches are not anti-homeless, they don't have metal dividers that keep people from stretching out. I'm guessing Europe or Canada.

Hello, Zdenka what's up. Your videos are so informative and good. Enough buttering for today 😅. I wanna ask that do you make your B-rolls with 24fps or 60fps? Because in other videos of other RUclipsrs like Matti Hapooja said that make your B-roll with 24fps and in some videos, people are saying to use high fps.
I film in 60fps and edit on 24fps timeline. If you film in 60 you can slow some clips down if you want to…. You cannot do that if you film in 24fps. I hope this helps
