It’s not ruined. It’s perfect. Absolutely love it.
With guys like the Iron Trap Garage crew, the future of industrial art is in very good hands. Absolutely beautiful work !
The "Ruined Roadster" is just plain cool now! Love how that coil turned out.
I like the lack of "crappiness" in this build. Is ITG veering off in a new direction?
Not all old men are boring. Well maybe we are but I'm 78 and the only thing cooler for this car would have been that v12 you have. Just for the LOOK!
Not much speed equipment available for the V12. A hot rod deserves a hot engine.
But the look!
Dear Lord, everything about this car is purrfect! Screams early hot rod/lakester! You and Steve can come to my garage and "ruin" my Business Coupe! Go Iron Trap, keep moving forward!
Man that 32 is a beauty! Like in those golden days long gone by, but live again at "The Iron Trap Garage!" Great work! Great Channel! Most of all, a great group of guys!
Thanks so much!
Absolutely ruined all the way to awesome!
Filing on that coil housing made me think of a lot "vise n file machining" I've done over the years. Loving the build and keep up the good work. Almost forgot. Glad to see the oops with the solenoid not letting the starter stop and the sorting it out. Nothing like learning from someone else's mistakes.
Haha yep we show the good and bad!
Awesome build fellas! Hearing the flathead growl at idle was awesome. Looking forward to seeing you take it on its first test drive and open it up in your hood
This "old man" 76, likes what you're doing as long as you end up having Hot Rod Jen doing some flames from the cowl to behind the doors!! That's what I would have done "back in the day!" Keep up the good work!
I got chills of joy when you fired it and pulled out of the shop. I still remember my dad firing up a new Montgomery Ward flathead he installed in granddads 53 Ford wagon back in '62.❤
Never gets old!
I respect the guys that restore old iron but I have to admit every time i see a nice original 32 my thoughts go to what would I do to make that car cool. You're doing it.
Love the ruined roadster build! Wanted one like it all my life!
Like that touch with the coil
Cover .
I think it looks and sounds great
That 32 came out BAD ASS nice jobs Guys
purrs like a saber toothed tiger.
What a sweet little hot rod. Great job guys
Steve really made it come together. Looks great.
I like it a lot . Sweet color also.
So simple but so amazing. This is time travel.
I like it. I would like to see the hood kept on it, but it's your car. I really like that engine as well.
Who said the hood isn’t going back on? It’s not done yet.
Try some Lye crystals in your ultrasonic cleaner.
A really nice representation of a classic style hot rod that is typical of what may have been built in the late 40s or early 50s. Only built to a better level of quality. The purist may cringe but since it wasn’t chopped or channeled, it shouldn’t be to difficult to make it as original again. Kinda makes everyone happy, doesn’t it.
Super cool 32 like I saw in the 50s roaming the streets. Nice work.
Thats a great color on her. Well done guys.
Awesome roadster
That marvelous car may be in the top five you guys have ever built! Utterly fantastic video! Thanks!
Wow, thanks!
I wish that shop was in my backyard. So cool!!!
Looking good, wish it was mine !
I love this jalopy ! So much better than the stock 4 banger. Another winner for Iron Trap.
WATCHING IT ALL COME TO FRUITION...VERY COOL. LOVE THE LOOK OF THIS CAR!
This one should satisfy the perfectly shitty h8ters - Great paint!!!!! The wheels, tires & stance are perfect, and that motor is a jewel! I can't wait to hear it opening up on a straight road! Ready for a time machine trip out to 1938 Muroc Lake!!!
Not Ruined by any means! Awesome 😎 32 Roadster with Flathead V8. So interesting to watch and learn thru the transformation process. Beautiful color green. Good job 👍. Thanks for what you guys do
I love the way it "starts right up" as soon as you hit the button. My old Harleys do the same thing, and I love it.
I also still have the sand cast finned aluminum coil cover that came with my first car in 1962, a 1937 FORD Tudor Slant-Back sedan. It will go on my project panel truck if it ever gets running....
....RooDog....
Love this build Matt. I love that shade of green too. One thing, "Green Cars Are Bad Luck". I know for me they actually were. I've owned two and both were rear-ended and totaled. Put a rabbits foot on the key chain. 👊😎👍
Purty..sound tightand looks original...
Carry on
I have always heard to mount the bottom facing down, so nothing falls on it,(animals) and the machanic of the botton dont accident turn on that car looks mint and would be my every day driver in the summer time .👍
Thank you Matt and Steve for the update on the Ruined Roadster ! I usually don't care for the color green but that shade of green looks awesome ! The sound of that Flathead is sweet music to my ears !
Love it. I would put the hood back on.
Another ITG triumph knocked out of the park ❤
A velcro square on the bottom of the coil would also work to secure it.
Really looks and sounds great. The old car has made a better hotrod.
On my 32 the carburators are about that high but a few more barrels.
Hey Matt & Steve,
I love the "Ruined Roadster" and would be proud to drive it! I appreciate how you salvage the vintage parts and hide newer components within. Very cool!
This car is GORGEOUS! You guys do amazing work! Congrats once again you guys!!!!! BTW, it sounds awesome as well!
That “ruined” looks and sounds amazing
You have transformed an ok restored 32 roadster into a very desirable traditional 32 hot rod and up the value big time. Love it.
My favorite favorite build !! That is exactly how I would build my roadster not to much just perfectly right !! Damn men awesome . What a beauty 😍
Good Job Matt and Steve!
Love it. Doesn't look cookie cutter anymore. Has its own soul.
It’s beautiful I love it … V8 hopped up flathead…just insanely cool and thanks for the inspiration …drove my Chrysler wagon finally ,,I thought 10 years …but closer to 15 …time flies.
That coil retrofit, was genius!
Thanks!
I love the job you guys are doing on the 32 Roadster. I can't wait to watch more videos as you do more upgrades.
Matt, That is COOL!! Makes me want to get back on my 29 SPECIAL COUPE that is getting an 8ba!!
Wow that's it's coolest 32 roadster
That roadster is mint condition
The engine looks and sounds sweet!
Wow, coming along quickly. Love the coil cover. Steve's green ITG shirt was a nice touch.
Tiny grammar note in your title: it's = it is It's a one-off deal where adding 's doesn't make it possessive like other words.
Really
Yet you let triple punctuation marks go?
@@VintageLifeCars When used to describe a win like this, absolutely!!!
Looking pretty sweet! Nice job.
The troll name is the best 😂😂😂😂
Looking good!, not ruined at all!
Love your Roadster, I have 34 pick-up flat head V-8 I came close to a fire (electrical ) DROP the POSTIVE GROUND! Cant wait fo the next show
Very nice hot rod, well done.
That is what I used to see on the road in the 50's & 60s In Detroit, it is GREAT thanks!
Nicely done! Loving how this one is turning out so far, with all the little details that really set this build apart from the others I've seen. I'd do a build very similar to this If I had the time and resources.
I'm curious how well the mechanical brakes will hold up with the extra horsepower, but obviously upgrading to juice brakes would definitely make more sense in the near future. Eagerly looking forward to more videos on this one~
Puddin’ of Puddin’s Fab Shop, has some about the same thing, he took a really nice Model A, put it on a new frame, swapped out the flat 4 for a small block Chevy V-8.
Fantastic job, super cool mod guys! 3 cheers for the masters !!!
Very nicely done Matt and Steve! Loving that car, that flatty looks so go in the hole. Like that ignition switch button, very nostalgic, great job guys!
Thanks 👍
looks great !
I really like that shade of green. And of course, the V8 sounds awesome.
Looks good
A very nice painted car. The dash is mint!
Well, I love how you've "ruined" the Roadster - I'm inspired to "ruin" one myself but, don't tell anyone!
Matt that is so freaking cool, love it. I'd put some cut down fenders on her and call it a day.
Love it, love it, love it.
Why not use a Honner to make that coil holder bigger? 😊😊
Very cool and sounds great.
The way it should look!
Love the oopsie start effort !!!!!
Excellent ,plus great paint.
New name The Unruined Roadster, its pretty nice guys. Ron
I want one just like that
It’s alive!! It’s alive!!!
Perfectly ruined 👍
Absolutely Perfect!!!.
Love it! Great content!!
Looks and sounds fantastic!
Love your videos. Always been a early 50’s car guy but last couple of years I have got into more of the earlier hot rods and have learned tons from your 101 videos. Thank you so much.
Thanks for watching!
i like what you did with the coil
Excellent. Love everything about it
Looks and runs great
Looks and sounds great!
Sounds great! Coming along ncely!
I used an old finned aluminum coil that I removed the coil from, and put a new coil in!
Sweet look and sweet sound nice job Matt
Nice sounding rod!
It looks Awesome 👍
nicely done!
With the little that car will be driven, it probably won't make much difference, but you should fill the space between the coil and the case with oil for cooling.
I used to sell batteries, those Walmart Everstart+ batteries are pretty good, but their cheaper batteries are not.
Great vid as always but I think you might need to keep an eye on the new coil. The air space between coil and casing is very effective insulation. If the coil overheats you'll soon know because it will burst and spray you with stinky oil.
Looking grate guys good job to bring it back life from Steve c from the state of Oregon USA
