I'm black and I'm actually not a huge Denzel fan. Sure, he's done some spectacular work here and there, but when I consider his total body of work, there are uninspired performances in there that I just can't get behind. He is kind of one-dimensional. Wright, on the other hand, is on another level. He is a true character actor who can dive deeper into the psyche of his characters than Denzel seems to be able to.

Most people these days don't know critical thinking, they become lazy and waiting to be spoon fed by youtube videos and reddit theories that informs so that they wouldn't have to look for it themselves and tells them what to think, instead of figuring things out on their own. The internet has become mainstream with mediocrity becoming spread and people having this mob mentality leaving any room for thinking outside the box.

I found the reveal itself to be one of the series’ few clunky moments. I saw big answers congealing, but then they kind of whomp you over the head with the funny “doesn’t look like anything to me” bit, and suddenly Ed Harris is spilling details to Delores, and it all felt a little rushed and inelegant.
One reason I saw certain reveals coming wasn’t that I’m so damn smart, but that I was and am really fascinated and enthralled by WW. I am paying close attention, invested in my understanding, and thinking about it later. On the other hand, Star Trek Discovery had several big, interesting reveals that I didn’t see coming, and that was because I was not that engaged with the material. STD has some great ingredients, but it can’t compare to the sort of care and quality that WW shows us most of the time.
