Think of the Gold Coast and Queensland as Florida. Australia on the east coast below northern NSW .isn’t hot, it just doesn’t get cold enough to snow! But in many ways, due to the building construction, it’s actually colder in the winter, because our insulation is so bad, that the houses are freezing, making it feel way colder than somewhere that actually does see snow.
