- Today I am hitting the range with my LERNA optic mount from GBRS. This thing has been a game changer. I tossed it on my MK18 Daniel Defense and they make quiet the pair. Not gonna lie, man. If I needed that much riser, I'm running carry handle and piggyback rails. It's cheaper, it has better backup irons, and it won't get banged out of zero when it gets hit or dropped sideways.
It really does seem crazy high doesn't it? Specs say it should hold up and I doubt they (GBRS) are willing to put out a sub-par product but only time will tell.
@@PrimalAdvancementsGBRS already puts out subpar products lol. Even the aliexpress copies are made with better materials.
The pass through works with back up traditional iron sights also on the GBRS mount, I didn’t know that initially.

Height over bore ballistics is a deal killer. I've messed with 1.93 and 1.7, but I just go back to 1.54". I don't like trying to remember and doing hold overs.
I'm used to a hold over so I can't say it was much of an adjustment.
Been used to holdovers for last few years. Lower 1/3 feels strange to me now
