They said on Twitter that they are cancelling evey communications about F1 23 this week because of the unfortunate events in Emilia-Romagna and the cancellation of the Grand Prix.

I need you to get happy when they fix the AI driving issue. Or the fact that we end up driving a tractor when it's raining and the AI are flying past us in a fighter jet with no mistakes in the wet

This was genuinely such a good feature deep dive
They left out if they fixed the issues we had with last year's game. Bad AI driving, horrible driving in the wet, ghosting through parts of the track, AI seeming to have a literal jet engine in them while you've got DRS and ERS open and going...

One thing I'm pleased about is that the leader board at the side when driving now has the team logos!

That's what we needed in F1 22 but they forgot it
But it still shows their full names instead of the shortened MAG, BOT, PIA etc. This takes up too much of the screen

Yeah Vegas does look nice, question is will the AI let you live to drive it. They are NOTORIOUS for just turning into you mid turn or breaking for no damn reason at the apex....

I used to work right there at the Bellagio, where they showed part of the video, and it looks spot on! Photogrammetry is incredible in video games!

Already looking better than 22, get Natalie Pinkham in game, greatly talented and one of the best dev diaries I’ve heard over the years when it comes to F1, hopefully this game is a step forward after last years debacle.

Vegas and Qatar look amazing. Graphics look to be a step up so far AND red flags for online? Can’t wait!
To me the graphics look worse than 22. Looks like they cranked up the contrast to unrealistic levels, the shadows are too dark now. And the Singapore floodlights at 0:40 look absolutely shocking, floodlights don't look like that in real life.

@@avalanche7645 It clearly looks better when it comes to night races, also you can see some light reflections on the wet track that did not exist in 22, so you're either blind or so alienated by that game you can't use your brain. It's still a low tier looking game for next gen standards, but it is improving (even tho the game will surely suck ass like always).

The Red Flags feature is sooo good. Can't wait for a game
I think we can't go in the pits when there is a red flag and out of the pits when the red flag is over. I think it just takes us to the race strategy screen and that's it.
@@imgoodkinda yeah, thats it, what do you expect? You want to wait for half an hour?
@@kiwi07 no but driving into the pits and out adds to the realism and suspense, instead of cutting straight to strategy after a message. If we could drive into the pits, cut to strategy then when everyone’s ready (for multiplayer) drive out of the pits and line up I think it would be cooler.

Fix the penalty system bruv, it's cracked! I sneeze on a AI driver, 5 second penalty, tried a legal overtake and get cut off... 10sec penalty.

Could use the same formation lap grid line up mechanic, but move it into the pit to park up in parc ferme. Never thought why this idea never crossed my mind

A little negative with the red flags is that at 3:46, the red flag happened and then although it says to "line up in the pits" you just get sent to the race strategy screen, so i don't think there is any driving in the pits and having that animation of being pushed in to the garage (like when u pit during quali or practice) which would have been nice to add.

Cars don’t go into the garage during red flags
I think that’s something for future games. And maybe they could add red flag animations and cut scenes too. But for now we atleast have it in the game 😅
@@Snephets yeah i know i used it as an example (which i didn't make clear lol), but it would be nice to have a little animation with the mechanics around the car and actually pulling into the pits
Maybe it will have an option in the settings like the pitstops and safety car where it will let you do it manually. Hopefully they will include something like this

Honestly looks like the step up F1 22 should have been. Loving what I'm seeing and hopefully Codemasters delivers another great F1 game because aside from F1 22, the last few years of games have been solid!

Honestly looking forward to seeing if its any better than 22. It seems like it, but you never know for sure. I hope they will also improve the AI's behaviour and ridiculous straight-line-speeds (which still isn't fixed even though Codies said it was)

E3 or whatever it is called now is around the corner. Can't see a delay happening they will want people to buy the game. The last delay was for F1 2015 that game was a total car crash.

Just a small detail but I love how they have finally updated the teamlogos alongside the drivers! Handling, physics and bugs are obviously the bigger part but still a neat change

I'm glad they finally added options for controller, it will be awesome. Also I saw a clip at 0:44 where the person driving used 2nd gear to exit the corner and his inputs were far more aggressive than you would do in F1 22. They've put real work into this and we could see another great game aside from F1 22, very excited

I had hoped for an update to the speedometer where the Kp/h would be easier to see. On TV we get the 350 kp/h numbers big and clear, and when the driver gets the DRS on, it turns green. Would love a feature like that. In the game you nearly cant see how fast you drive...

This is perfect stuff. It's not "let's tell them what's new" it's "let's show them what's new" and you can see alot of great improvement and difference.

Better handling and the red flags are awesome, looking forward to the tracks as well. I still wish for some Myteam features like a fully customizable calendar, different upgrading system and maybe even a older dlc track like sepang or hockenheim. Would definitly pay to drive such a track in my career. But overall a good direction after the f122 desaster. Keep it up ❤

Everything I'm hearing has me very excited for this game. Improved handling, 35% races, new tracks, plus the graphics look to be a big improvement over last year. The devs clearly listened to feedback, and this year's entry sounds extremely promising.

@@kyperactive yeah players who play the closed beta recently said the handling is like 20/21 if not even better than those two games at all and a step in the right direction compared to 22 handling overall

Im sorry, but beta testers shouldnt be the dictators of quality. If youve seen Madden, then you know this is bs, I would still be cautious at best for this game.

Its nice to see that they improved graphics and lighting, i mean it still looks like a codemasters F1 game but just a bit more realistic. Now i just hope that handling is more than just traction update.

F1 22 was the first F1 game i sold after 3 weeks.
The physics were terrible and i never had so much trouble in an F1 game while using a controller.
I really hope they didn't make the same mistake.
I have bought F1 2010 untill F1 22 and if they mess it up again it's probably the last F1 game i played.

That PrecisionDrive thing looks like some marketing jargon like Hypermotion on FIFA. Nontheless, the coming back of the Red Flag is pretty interesting, been a while since we've seen one in an F1 game
Nah if it’s what I think it is it means controller players will finally not be handicapped. Any decent sim style racer on a pad can and should be as competitive with wheel players but these games always had this quirk where the steering input paused briefly at the centre point before going past it. Meant quick direction changes just weren’t really possible and no chance trying to correct a slide. Made me just stop even trying to play these games. This sounds like they finally fixed it and made it a bit of a bullet point here to let people know.
@David Hunter This is especially apparent when trying to go through the S's at COTA or maggots and becketts at Silverstone. Hell even the S's in Japan were a handful on controller. So much so that it honestly made me dread having to race on those tracks whenever they came up despite me actually enjoying them as a whole.

I think the fact Portugal and china are being added at the start shows they will add old tracks later in the year
They use the term "fan favourites" for advertising purposes. Wouldn't sound very fancy if they just said "here's some tracks we have laying around in our data banks that are up to date with the current game engine and physics" I guarantee thats the only reason why they are included, they're just laying around unused but are up to date with the current games so they just chucked them in. They won't include Hockenheim because the track map is not up to date with the current game physics
But it would bring even more Players into the Game and the Hardcore Fans would Play nearly every day 6 hours round about
@@weeabooplumbus1999 nah they’re added because they already had the rights to use them and the circuits built. Using something that’s already been paid for and made is different from buying the rights to a completely different circuit and building it from scratch
